Cotton Cordell Wally Diver Walleye Crankbait Fishing Lure

These are the best producing lures I have in my walleye arsenal. The black and silver definitely being the top one. Have even had smallmouth, lake trout, and muskie hit them. I've trolled them at speeds anywhere from 1.5-3mph and have caught fish all through that range. When I first got this lure I put out a spread of this one and three other different brand stick baits, all same relative color. This was the only one to produce fish. Ordered 6 more as soon as I got home that day and these are the only ones I use now.

I collect all types of fishing paraphernalia and especially lures. Cotton Cordell is a huge name in American Fishing Lures. For the small price of $4.00, I had to get it in my collection of modern lures. This one will remain in the manufacturer package because we don’t have feeding minnows or shads with this coloring in my state. I just found it online from Amazon and liked the look of the novelty.It’s not a popular color nor model in north Georgia. It’s not a Balsam Wood Finland Made Rapala. It’s a beautiful oddly colorful plastic lure.I will trade, sell or gift it one day but for now, it’s a nice part of my Cotton Cordell lure collection.

I spent hundreds on tackle for a big trip. The silver Wally diver out-fished everything. My son retired it and has it hanging on his wall. It looks like it has been in a blender with all of the teeth marks. Caught many Northerns, Small Mouth, Large Mouth and Perch.

Works well but not the red that it shows, much lighter almost light neon red or orange

My dad used this lure on a BWCA trip and caught largemouths, smallmouths, and northerns...all really good sizes. So many teeth marks so the back half of the lure is white! Good action while trolling and gets down on its own. Will be buying several more!
