This stuff is thick and very moisturizing. I bleach my hair to the lightest blonde, it can get to and this is my holy grail of all moisturizers I've ever used. It aides me in the hairstyle I like to do, which is finger waves. Helps hold the hair down due to the thickness.

My favorite hair products! Especially for my nightly twist. Recommend for 4b and 4c hair texture. My hair has never been so hydrated. It's growing strong and my curl pattern has become more defined. More strong.

I was looking for a curl cream, had never tried this one but the reviews seemed great so I got it. Absolutely one of my favorite purchases, smell is good for the first day but you might want to be careful how much you use as it doesn’t smell as great the next day. I mix it with a bit of water before applying to my hair, every day, and it’s so moisturizing. I also apply this on my scalp at night, and in the morning it’s soaked fully into my hair. This stuff does wonders and has an amazing hold. Definitely recommend, and for reference I have 3c + 4a hair.Edit: After I saw the results of this product I decided to purchase another one. For some reason the texture and scent of the product was completely different. For some reason my second purchase was much thinner and didn’t moisturize my hair as the last one did. Don’t know what happened but I still use it, I just don’t depend on it as I used to. Before i would use this single product and some gel, now I have to mix it up with other products which causes some build up. I don’t know, maybe my first one was faulty as my friend purchased it as well and it was the same as my second one.

It does make your hair softer but it’s a little bit flaky .

It makes my hair so soft and brings out the curls. Not too heavy on the hair. I like the smell too, it's not overpowering.

This cream is really thick which is a good thing for my family’s hair and it smells good enough to eat (yes my son asked if he could!) lol. It coats the hair very well and defines your natural hair texture, it also has beneficial ingredients to promote healthy hair which is very important to me. It’s a leave in conditioner so I put it on my sons hair after bath time while it was still wet and his hair looked good and it’s typical itchy but this product prevented that and I’m so happy about that. At this price point and for the quality of this product I will continue to buy it, oh and you don’t need that much because it’s so thick.

Let me start by saying, I do not have 4C hair. I would guess that I am more of a 3C. That being said, I absolutely did NOT like the smell, which from the reviews many did. Carol's Daughter used to have an oil called TUI. Now, THAT was a yummy smell. This smells nothing like what I imagine Coco smells like, maybe Coco watered down with too many other things to have that specific scent, which for me is not good.On a positive, it definitely gave my curls some nice definition, but my hair felt very weighted and greasy. After washing, I normally use a Leave-In Conditioner w/ kinky curly hair Gel for styling and diffuse or air dry my hair. I used this instead of the Gel and my hair just felt like it had a lot of grease on it.So, if you are not a 4C, this may not be the best product for your hair. But on the smell alone, I would not buy it.

My hair has never felt so moisturized! I've been using this this to keep my hair plaited up while in the house and then when I'm ready to go out and about I take my plaits downs and have the most luscious and soft braid out ever. I have been on a search for a while for something that moisturizes my 4A hair and I have finally found it. A staple for sure.
