I bought a used rice cooker just like this one at a thrift shop 10 years ago. It has been very convenient to use but my husband thought we should upgrade to a stainless steel inset bowl. I ordered it and it came quickly.. It worked even better than my old one with the added bonus of a stainless steel bowl. It makes perfect rice and didn't stick to the walls as some reviews indicated.Thank you. I love it!

This Aroma rice cooker is very well worth the price. Stainless steel inner pot is very good quality thick shiny and cook rice very well. Simple rice cooker. A white color outer pot also looks nice.

Stainless steel liner is great!With plain white rice I use one cup of rinsed rice to two cups of water.Make sure you pre-grease the pan before adding rice and water!I grease mine with real butter.Add a little salt for tasteGreat rice!Perfect for beans and rice bowls (add some avocado and diced Roma tomato and you have a healthy balanced meal!Used mahatma brand white rice( MAKE SURE YOU PRE- RINSE THE RICE)Don't forget to grease the pan before adding the rice!Perfect rice every time!enjoy!!!

Just got my rice cooker the other day. I made my first batch of rice tonight. I washed the beautiful stainless steel pot with warm soapy water. Whew! Once the heat element heated up my kitchen smelled of hot plastic. I was concerned that my rice would taste like plastic but it did not taste like plastic. The rice was moist and well cooked. I chose this unit specifically for the stainless steel cooking pot. The cooking pot cleaned up nicely after use with warm soapy water. I do hope that the next batch of rice I cook will not smell up my kitchen.

I bought this rice cooker over a decade ago, and to this day it's still going strong. I use it regularly, several times a month with no complaints. Unlike the previous rice cooker I'd used, this having a stainless inner pot there's no coating to flake-off or scratch, which also benefits its longevity. This is a really solid product, if you have rice as a staple food you won't go wrong with this.

Very happy, as rarely you found this that comes with a stainless steel. Yes, the rice does stick to the bottom but you will get used to it. It washes out once you soak in water for few minutes. I also use it to cook noodles or soup as well. Any left overs you can simply remove the stainless container leave the lid on in the refrigerator and heat it up next day.

I love this rice cooker! Bought it as we're trying to replace all non-stick items in our kitchen. Everything works as it should.

If you plan to use this frequently around your house, do yourself a favor and add an inline switch. You'll thank me later. 4 stars for missing a built-in off button. A gazillion stars for an otherwise great product.
