I first ordered a pair of these last October and they lasted - without a hitch- for 7 wintry wet months, which is quite exceptional for me because I work outdoors and in constant contact with soil, mud, wet concrete, grass and other vegetation. The inner lining at the heel frazzled. The rest of the boots are still intact, though the laces have lost their outer coating.I'd classify these as a wide-fit.Last year I had to get orthopaedic insoles and theses are the only work boots I have (I have several) that they will slip in and out of without fiddling. At first I was alternating the boots I'd use (every couple of days), but inevitably, it became more convenient to leave the custom-made insoles in these and wear them all the time -which isn't actually good foot hygiene, but I had no ill effects from doing so.Also, I have high "domes" (if the foot arch is underneath, the dome is the top "arch") when tying up the laces the mid section doesn't squeeze up.The only real issue I had was at the heel. The boots always feel a bit lose back there and I find myself wondering if the top lace eyes were a shade higher would that fix the problem. Eventually the inner heel frazzled and I came home bleeding. I attempted to fill the gap but nothing really worked. It's good to have roomy footwear if you're wearing them for over 14 hours a day, but it can get a bit annoying to be re-doing the laces so often. That said, it's a very small price to pay to avoid the difficulties I had before I had to have the insoles made.

Never been disappointed in them
I always buy these boots for work. Never been disappointed in them . Except I always put good insoles in them.
