Local Church Bible Publishers Mid Size Note Takers – 400 Series Leather Bound – January 1, 1611

Wow. What a nice Bible. It arrived just two days after I placed the order. The very day I placed the order I received an e-mail from the seller, Rod, letting me know that he had actually added additional postage at his own expense so that I could receive the Bible as soon as possible. This really is a Bible for folks who like to make notes and it is beautifully made. There's plenty of room for this and the text is still very readable. The seller ALSO included a really nice carrying case for it - it doesn't normally come with one - that fits it perfectly. I really could not have had a better experience or received a better product in a more timely fashion. Kudos, Rod!!!

Great bible. Have big plans for the note taking capacity. First time I saw this type bible I thought who would want something like that? Then the light went on and had to have one.

I own several Local Church Bibles among others published. If you use the King James Version and make a lot of notes this is the one. Highly recommend!

Inexplicably OUTSTANDING bible for amazingly low price: the Local Church Bible Publishersorchestrate the exquisite and durable construction of these bibles for zero profit, but sell themfor cost. I own the "Note-taker's" mid-size black "executive" (defines the type of leather, thisbeing one of the highest quality available). Note-Takers gives both huge margins, and alsogives you a "single-column" bible, which is much less busy-looking, and is much easier on theeye when reading. This does, however, make the note-takers bible larger... (it takes twiceas many pages if there is only one column per page).... perhaps a tiny bittoo large for SOME, not all, people who like to take their own Bible to church. Maybe evenif you have painful arthritis in your hands or wrists, the difference in weight will be noticeable,and for the latter, it would be a better bible for home study and laid out on a table, as opposedto held in one hand, while page turning with the other. However they offer a "wide-margin" thatis still two columns, and gives plenty of note-taking room. I didn't buy the note-taker's principallyfor note taking but because i like a single-column bible. whether you buy this off Amazon or not,you should google for the publisher's own site to study the awesome panorama of outstandinglyconstructed beautiful life-time bibles they offer. NOTE: THESE HIGH QUALITY BIBLES ARE WILDLY INEXPENSIVE,BECAUSE THEY PUBLISH THEM AND SELL FOR COST. $57 plus shipping for the versioni bought, and equally fantastic ones for $45. (they have Bibles from $10 range and up).I wish they'd open an Amazon market, for the ease of Amazon purchases and to make thesemore known, but it is hard to criticize, in any way, a publisher that sells extremely finebibles for zero mark-up. (you can donate to them, if you choose). My version at $57 wouldeasily be the equivalent of a $150 to $300 bible. (for people who think it's absurd to evenconsider such prices, remember that one tends to own their bible for a lifetime.... and theseare probably "less expensive" for the length of wear, and simply worth it). Again, googleLocal Church Bible Publishers to study what they offer. the low prices are uncanny.

I’m *relatively* happy with my purchase of a mid sized wide margin executive. Here’s how I would describe my Bible: imagine that you took high quality materials (leather, paper) and applied a high quality construction technique (sewn signatures, edge lining, perimeter stitching) - but then had an amateur assemble it based on a You Tube instructional video. The quality of materials is amazing for the price, and the Bible is solidly constructed. However, it’s the “little” things I noticed immediately. The not quite straight (or centered) lettering on the spine. The uneven cut on the leather liner where it is attached to the paper block. The edge lining not being quite flush/straight. If these things will drive you crazy, spend the extra money on a Bible that is not only solidly built, but solidly executed. For me, I’m trying to ignore this stuff and remind myself I was looking for a durable Bible I didn’t feel bad about marking in and beating up, so I don’t have any real regrets. There is a rumor LCBP’s quality had gone down, but I can’t confirm or deny as this is my first experience.

This is a beautiful Bible. I have one in Red. The cover is Ironed Calfskin. The Binding is sewn so the pages will not fall out. The lining on the inside of the Bible is also sewn down instead of just glued. If you do serious Bible study with notes, you do not want one that will fall apart after you have invested all that study time. This is a good choice. It is also a great choice for someone who wants to pass down their Bible to a loved one later on. Bibles with this quality of construction are usually $100-$300 depending on where they are purchased. You tube has videos that show comparisons between these Bibles & other more expensive ones. There is also a video on you tube showing their manufacturing process. God Bless.

I have been teaching and preaching for 15 years. When I discovered this 2.5" margin Bible with 11 pt font I was very excited. As you search for this specification you will find the combination scarce.Local Church Publishers and Church Publisheres are the only sources I have found. The quality is excellent for the price. It is fantastic because I can preach the whole Bible without written sermons.. As you get older the 11 pt font is a great help.

Brand New but different color.
