Farberware Nonstick Bakeware Set with Nonstick Cookie Sheet/Baking Sheet, Baking Pan and Cake Pans - 4 Piece, Purple

I have had these pans and used them for about 2 years now. When I first got them I loved the look and nonstick feel. I noticed that burned food was sometimes hard to clean out of the small gaps on the surface, though. I never put these in the dishwasher and instead used a sponge to scrub, sometimes using the abrasive side which was a mistake.After 2 years, I noticed that the purple nonstick coating was starting to wear off. The material had been getting scratched and faded from me scrubbing it to get food out of the little hole gaps, so it was only a matter of time before the coating came off. Perhaps if I was gentler in cleaning it, they would have lasted longer, but who knows. It would have taken me ages to clean the pans if I didn’t, so it didn’t seem practical.The cake pans are still fine since I use those less, but I had to get a new deep pan and will have to get a new cookie sheet soon since i use that one the most and once the coating starts coming off, I don’t want to risk that getting into my food.If you cook a lot and are looking for a set to last you a while, I would not buy these pans. If you don’t care and have other pans that you can use to switch things up, then perhaps these should last longer. Just be gentle when cleaning them and I would NOT attempt to put these in the dishwasher or fill these with boiling water in the oven for extended period of time (I did this in the deep pan to make dulce de leche and it ruined the pan).

I bought this in April 2020, but the purple coating stated to chip off after only a few uses. This morning when I took out of dishwasher it was chipped & rusted so bad I don’t feel it is usable any longer. At first review I loved the color and the pans seemed substantial, but after a year it looks like this. I only use plastic utensils on it so metal utensils are not the issue.Move on and do not purchase this. Of course it’s too late to return.

The pattern on the pans seems decorative, but you learn quickly that they have a purpose. They cook well and evenly. It took some time to adjust cooking temps and time due to the fact that they are colored (reduce times and temps for these pans) Clean up is generally easy if you use a cooking spray and even if not. I have found that on the cookie sheet if anything gets "baked on" it can be difficult to get the micro brown spots off. I have used baking soda and vinegar with success to clean them, otherwise hand wash only with soap and water. A must have set for anyone's kitchen.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this set after getting hooked on the individual cookie sheet. I didn't realize this set would come in such a nice box but this would make such a perfect gift! Great for Newlyweds or a house warming present! And they are so affordable! I've owned many "brown" nonstick pans but never any like this. These are TRULY non stick. As long I I continue to use non stick utensils with them, and wash them gently (easy, b/c nothing sticks to them!), they should last many many years. I would recommend them and will buy again as gifts in the future.

So was needing baking pans- saw Farberware but could not believe the price I got for them. And in Purple of all colors- just loving it! It baked well and as we cut into the bread pudding, it came out with no sticking to bottom. Also as we cut down further (we were eating it in like 1 day) it was sliding in the pan- easily clean up. just wipe . When I baked in cake pan, even though there was some spillage onto aluminum foil turned the cake pan over and the cake slide right out- wiped clean. Please do buy- it is worth it! It's farberware well-known brand and well pleased!

The color on my screen did not do this set justice. On the screen it looks like a very dark purple which I wasn't a total fan of but I'm doing my kitchen in purple and teal and this was the only purple bakeware I could find. When I opened it, it was a beautiful, bright, vibrant purple. I haven't used them yet but I hope they stay that color. It's my favorite color and it fits perfectly with my other colored items.

I like my set, but it will warp at 425-degrees. Even a bit less than that. I managed to salvage mine by weighing it down to be flat while it was cooling and it seems to be staying flat. But still... no bueno. Also, not totally nonstick in my opinion. The pillow pattern is nice but can make it a little more difficult if things get stuck.

Absolutely LOVE the color of these pans! However, the second time using the cookie pan, it buckled in the oven at 400F. It did go back to its shape afterwards. I've only used it twice, so I'll update my post when I use it more often and see how they go.

Completely unimpressed ! The non stick peeled off after a wash in the dishwasher ! Says dishwasher safe !!

At first I thought the quality was very high as it was quite heavy and looked as though the non stock coating would last. But after a few uses the coating started to come off and rust only after a handful of uses. Disappointed. Waste of money.
