Hard to find in stores, thank goodness for AMZN
I went to the big box hardware stores 3x and was referred to a specialty plumbing store. No one had it. The specialty plumbing store told me I had to change the shutoff valve to a 'regular' 1/2. But this is a bit beyond my DIY abilities.I checked online for 1/2 compression, ordered this and hoped for the best. I received it the next day! I ♡AMZNIt fit perfectly and was able to finish my toilet valve replacement in 15 minutes. I spent HOURS running back and forth around town looking for this.I just ordered a spare in case I need to replace it on another toilet.

Perfect size. My local plumbing specialty store said it would take a week to get this part. Amazon sent it in two days. Installation was a breeze and the supply line works great.

This is well made and would probably work well for most, but not for me the small connector that hooks up to the water inlet would not fit the shut off valve. Gave it to a friend.

4 stars. Why not 5? Because I think the new "click" tighten technology is better.
Excellent supply line. Quality and braided line looks great. However, when I realized I accidently bought the wrong size (I needed a 3/8 connection), I went to the local store and bought a different brand. The new line I bought features a "click" tightening system where the 7/8 plastic bolt is connected to the toilet tank plastic threads. This makes so much sense. You tighten the plastic end by hand and it "clicks" when properly tightened. Easy. As a claim adjuster, I've been to multiple flooded houses where someone had over-tightened the plastic and caused a hairline stress crack. They usually won't leak for years...then....BAM...you wake up to an inch of water in your house someday. So yeah, the 'click' tighten technology, which this unit does NOT have, can save you from a house flood some day.
