Love this!! It has kept my dogs from chewing on the hose as well as the hose still works and does not take up much space!! Great value for the money. Rolls very easily. And easy to use. Hose is great quality as well and very durable.

Sturdy and well made item. Easy to hook up and like the style of it. I wrapped a 150' stainless steel hose in it and it fit nicely.

Not what I expected from past experience with Suncast. Should have checked in store first, Not heavy plastic as before, much lighter size and weight {more flimsy) than in past, rewind mechanism no longer rides on tube which rotates in grooves with turn of crank handle as in past. As a result, the user has to move the hose guide knob by hand while turning the crank and holding the unit with your third hand or that of a helper. Holding the unit by hand is necessary to prevent pulling stakes in rear of the unit out of the ground. Always been happy with Suncast but!!!!!! Will not return as it is still a good buy. Customer service is great.

Love this hose reel. Makes watering so easy and you don’t have to spend more time trying to get the hose rounded up and out of the way - you just reel it in and voila it is stored in a sturdy but very pretty case.

Worked great for a few months, looks good and winding function is better than on other reels I've used. Mine sits on a concrete patio so it cannot be staked down. I would have liked there to be a step to place your foot to keep it from moving so much while winding, but it is manageable.The out-tube has a little plastic blowout plug that seems to be epoxied in place, mine failed with normal house water pressure. It is only held in place by the glue, not screwed in or press fit, so the whole thing is unusable now that the plug fell out. Glue left on the plug looks like it was not applied evenly. A new out-tube assembly is about $12 + $8 shipping from the mfg. Contacted manufacturer to inquire about possible warranty. Might try to glue it myself if not.*Update* Manufacturer responded within 24 hours to an email on their product support page. They are sending a replacement in/out tube repair kit free of charge. Excellent customer service response.

This Suncast 175 ft. Wicker Style Resin Hose Hideaway is an absolute abomination and a complete waste of money. The "wicker style" might look decent in the picture, but in reality, it's nothing more than cheap, flimsy plastic that feels like it will shatter if you look at it too hard."Not sturdy" is a massive understatement. This thing wobbles and flexes with the slightest touch. I put my hose in it, and the entire unit felt like it was going to buckle. It's clearly not built to withstand any real outdoor use, let alone the weight of a standard garden hose. It might survive in a climate-controlled museum, but not in an actual backyard.And don't even get me started on the "rolls up hose without problems" claim – that's a flat-out lie! The internal mechanism is a joke. The crank is stiff, the hose jams constantly, and it feels like you're fighting a losing battle trying to reel anything in. It's more of a hose tangler than a hose hideaway. I've spent more time untangling and wrestling with this pathetic excuse for a product than actually using my hose.This Suncast product is a prime example of poor engineering and cheap materials being sold at an inflated price. Save yourself the frustration and buy something actually durable. This is a fragile, ineffective piece of plastic garbage that belongs in the recycling bin, not your yard.

Honestly love this thing. No assembly required, just hook up the hose and go! It feels very sturdy especially for the price. Took a long while to ship but I’m very happy with my purchase.
