Could not recommend MORE! I love this chopper, someone else recommended it to me and I’ve recommended to others. It makes dishes with lots of different veggies required SO much easier. It’s easy to fit in a drawer, works great and cuts perfectly. You’re able to fit quite a bit in it instead of having to empty so much like a normal veggie chopper. Only downside is when it comes to cleaning the blades and top because veggies to get stuck a little but it comes with a tool that helps tremendously

It doesn't look like much, but this is a great product. I wouldn't say I'm lazy in the kitchen, but chopping vegetables is definitely not my favorite kitchen task. I figured I'd role the dice on a twenty dollar purchase to save some time in the kitchen. I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality and performance of this product.I am almost shocked at how well, even after months of daily use, it cuts tomatoes. Most of these things mash up tomatoes into some form of very bland salsa. Not this. With roma tomatoes I slice them in half and then run them through the chopper. Perfect for salads, tacos, and one very picky toddler who only seems to like tomatoes.I also use this tool for chopping onions, potatoes and carrots. They do not seem to dull the blades. I cube the potatoes by running them through the chopper twice. You can also slice depth then run it through the chopper, but I like my pretty little potato cubes. I think onions are where this product really shines. No tears with this product.You do have to give it a pretty hefty slam for a clean cut. This product seems to take a licking. It's very tough- I'm sure it'll break at some point, but it's worth it to buy one of these every 6-12 months.There are 2 non-fatal flaws with this product. It's kind of ugly. It looks weaker than it is. I don't really care about that. I use it and then it immediately goes in the dishwasher. The other problem is that it can take a minute to clean. I like the little cleaning tool. it saves a lot of time. There are just many nooks and crannies to scrub out. I also don't recommend this product for cutting cheese. It's too mushy and sticky- doesn't survive the slam very well.

Love this chopper! Don’t know how I made it before I found this product. Chopping 4 or 5 layers of veggies for a salad used to be a monumental task. This chopper helps tremendously. I have used mine for several years and the blades are still sharp. I recently bought another one because my base did crack. That was probably from mistreatment by me.

This is the best for making salsa-makes chopping tomatoes, peppers, onions a breeze! Works so well and easy to use-a real time saver! A must buy

Nice chopper, 2 size grates included, even pieces. A little difficult to clean but included cleaning rake helps

I've been desiring a product that would cube vegetables and this one absolutely fits the bill. I've used blender attachments, hand choppers, and even the ol' fashioned knife. Each has their benefits but this Vidalia Chop Wizard fills a niche in my kitchen. I enjoy cooking and tend to use a lot of vegetables in my meals, whether it be crock pot, stove top, or oven.Anyway, the device arrived yesterday and I've been using this thing today for various cooking ambitions (it's the weekend; give me credit here...). This slices through potatoes, carrots, and onions with relative ease. What is very nice is how there's these five rubberized grips on the bottom. I am finding that this thing stays put on the counter top without any movement or sliding. I cannot extend the same compliment to my cutting boards, though.The little pick that comes with it is very useful to get rid of any debris from between the grooves in the lid. The plastic comb is a bit delicate, so I'm wondering how long it's going to last before one of the tines break. Hopefully the company is able to distribute replacements because the spacing is exactly the width of the grooves on the lid. Makes for exceptionally easy clean-up.So, yeah, you're not going to find yourself crying over onions with this thing. I probably chopped one large onion in less than two minutes, with the most time dedicated to the pre-work of removing the outer layers and slicing off the ends. Once your onion is ready for chopping, you can dice the bulb in probably 30 seconds. Well worth it, since I use onions with a lot of my dishes.If you're looking for a kitchen time-saver, this would certainly satisfy that need. Here's hoping the device can hold up to a lot of use!
