The screws supplied do not match the pre threaded holes into which they need to be screwed
The screws supplied do not match the pre threaded holes into which they need to be screwed. 5 screws are required to mount the 2.5inch adaptor into the caddy. Unfortunately the screws have a different thread than the caddy and cannot be used. This makes it necessary to re-drill and re-thread the holes.

Need an elegant looking HDD caddy.
This product is designed to be used in its manufacturer’s drive cage or server where it can be slid in to engage with runners specifically designed for the caddy and where the light guide for the front panel indicators can be fed. The vented door at the front is a bit of a puzzle as you can’t retrieve the HD through it and the 2.5” HD carrier blocks any appreciable ventilation it may offer. So this caddy is part of a bespoke system and therefore not suitable as a standard internal CD/DVD aperture caddy in a PC case - my mistake!
