I had purchased a LiFePO4 battery Graphene brand from amazon as their description mentioned it supported regular inverters also. After some battery tuning, it was fully setup to work with this inverter. It has been running for a week now with a load of 150W and works fine.Only issue is that the fan is noisy and irritating. I contacted customer service to replace the fan and they mentioned this is the normal sound so no luck there. Even when there is no load and battery is charging, the fan cranks up. It stopped once battery reached 100%.Now coming to the app, it is a nicely laid out app which reports voltages, current, and offers several features as advertised on the prosuct description. It can be connected via bluetooth over BLE as well as wifi. Ideally, BLE connectivity is limited to a few meters and wifi should support a longer range as it is connected to my router. However, here, in both cases, the range was very limited which was strange. On the things that need improvement, the app does not report the mains current that is used so I was forced to use a smart plug to track it. Similarly, there was no direct way to see the battery power consumption. Everytime I need to get the battery power being used, I need to manually multiply the voltage and current. These metrics could have been improved so that the battery, mains and solar stats are shown separately.Additionally, a UART port would have been nice to fetch the readings and use it in apps like home assistant.

Awsome product. Can be controlled by mobile app. Has holiday mode, fast charging, extra backup mode and can adjust power delivery for sufficient backup. Works really well with V-Guard tubular battery. 🔋🔋.Can add solar panels too. ☀️☀️

I have purchased the Vguard Solar inverter( SMART PRO 1200 S on 24.05.2024. The Product is warranted for 2 years. But within one year, the product failed, and it is not accepting solar input. I have registered a complaint regarding this issue on 06.04.2025. To date, no action has been taken from the company side to rectify the fault. Poor Quality of the Product and a lethargic service attitude of the service people and customer care.

Its PWM technology , working as expected. My home typical load is 200 to 250 watt load and I have battery of 230 AH , it does not fully charge my battery upto 100% but till 93% and during day time it take my full load on solar, I have installed 4 x 170 watt panel in parallel.It saves my electricity bill by 70 % .

Model: V-Guard Smart Pro 1200SBattery Used: EXIDE INVAMASTER (IMTT2000) 200Ah (Manufactured just 1 month ago)Setup & Build:I installed the inverter today and connected it to a brand-new EXIDE INVAMASTER 200Ah battery Manufactured one month ago in April 25. While the inverter powers up and works, I noticed a noticeable build gap where the front plastic panel meets the metal body. The gap is uneven — larger on one side than the other — which gives the unit a poorly finished look for a premium product. I've attached pictures to show this.Noise:The cooling fan is quite audible during charging and continues to run even briefly after switching to backup mode. It’s not loud, but in a quiet room, you’ll definitely notice it. I didn't find option to control fan in the app.Fan noise stops once it's fully on battery backup.Performance & Battery Charging:The inverter is functional and powers basic loads, but I’m concerned about the charging and calibration:The battery has never gone past 97% despite charging for over 1.5 hours beyond that point. I’m not sure if this is due to initial calibration or something else.During backup at about 4A load, battery percentage dropped rapidly — from 97% to 81% in just 15 minutes, which seems too fast for a 200Ah battery.On the flip side, the charging speed is quite fast, going from 81% to 89% in just about 6–7 minutes.Currently using Normal Charge (NC) mode via the switch at the back. I’m considering using High Charge (HC) mode temporarily for calibration, but long-term effects on battery health aren’t clear.App Experience – A Major Weak Point:The app is functional but very poorly designed:You cannot use the same account on more than one device — logging in on a second phone logs you out from the first.To use it on a different account (like a family member’s), you have to re-register the inverter by scanning the QR code and filling in purchase details, battery type, dealer name, and even your address again but not sure if it will allow to register the same inverter on different account.The inverter provides detailed metrics via the app, which is a good thing, though I wish the app had better graphing and historical tracking.Other Notes:The inverter does provide detailed real-time readings of battery voltage, grid voltage, charging current, and load current, which is useful.I placed the battery on a wooden platform for better insulation and safety.Final Thoughts (First-Day Review):Pros:Real-time monitoring worksSimple interface and inverter functionality is stableCons:Fan noise during chargingCharging stuck at 97%, even after hoursApp is poorly built and restrictive — doesn’t allow multi-device controlVisible build gap reduces confidence in quality controlThis review is based on less than 1 day of usage.
