Works great and easy to set

Very easy to set up and works great. Easy to bypass also, when needed. Unfortunately, it made a low buzzing noise that drove me crazy, and I had to stop using it.

The Tork RTN 112 timer is very similar to the old Intermatic timers I used to have that finally quit working. Setting the time is quick and intuitive. I also purchased the Tork RTN 312 timer thinking it might be better to have a grounded plug for my multiple strands of Christmas lights plugging into one timer. Both seem to keep great time. The Tork timers were at a more reasonable price point than the comparable Intermatic timers so that's what sold me.

Sometimes the timer skips and won't come on when set. Otherwise it works very well.

Love these timers. So much easier to use than the programmable timers out there. Just move the little pegs and you're done.

Received June 16, 2025 and the “clock” part of the timer loses time so this timer is useless after only a few weeks of use. Just a single lamp with led lightbulb is plugged into it. This is not the large dial to set the on off time, this is the small clock in the middle that you set it to current time. I could have returned it because it died prior to 30 day return but I had surgery and didnt have time to deal with returning this along with pre op procedures.

This is the timer I am use to, with clips used to set the time on andoff. It came with 3 sets of clips, but I need only one. It worksperfectly!

I need to checj the brand name on the timer like this that has worked daily for over 41 years. One of these died in 5 months and the other never functioned which I did not realize until I went to replace the one othat died. I have tried many timers. This style is the only one I like.
