sturdy and like tongue depressors in terms of consistency
Texture reminds me of TONGUE DEPRESSORS from childhood. If you can roll with eating off of one of those (texturally not....geometrically?!) than these should be fine for you! I could see this triggering sensory issues for some people LOL but so far i'm good w them. Less depressing to me aesthetically than plastic is by FARRR.They're pretty sturdy so though I haven't yet tried cutting or tougher jobs w these I imagine the knives or spoons/forks even will stand up to any reasonable cutting task.

Excellant
We had a kitchen remodel and used these while we waited. So happy we can do our part and used these in our compost.

Overall good, but beware of cut/jagged parts
Overall these are good, but I've come across the occasional sharp bits sticking out or cut portions of the utensils that present a possible opportunity for splinters or other injuries, especially if not careful. However, the vast majority of the cutlery was in good condition.

Wooden forks
Ok we got these cause silver ware kept running out and we did not want to keep using plastic! These are a perfect in between…. “No splinters”

Perfect solution to avid plastic
Loved this compostable utensils. We wanted to get something for a birthday party that wasn't made out of plastic and these utensils were more elegant, great to use and 100% compostable!! We loved them.
