This is an Amazing antenna.
I don't usually write a review on stuff unless it's really bad, or really good. This antenna has blwon me away with how well it works. I have always used the Browning BR-180 antenna as my go-to due to it's gain and beefyness. I have used it for well over 20 years, and have 5 of them on all my vehicles. I got this cheap antenna for a Radioddity DB25-D Mini Mobile Radio that was going into a mini k-truck. The radio had APRS and DMR, and I saw my location pings right away after getting the radio setup. And the truck was still in the closed garage. Well, I did some testing, and found that this antenna is just amazing. I can seriously get APRS packets out half way across the state of Utah. I was in the middle of the state, and an APRS igate in ELY nevada heard me.... and when my wife was in Idaho, an igate in Layton picked it up........ well over 100 miles away. I am going to buy several more soon in case they stop making them. This antenna is AMAZING.

Good to go.
Haven’t seen any issues out of the box, pretty happy with it.Since I got a new meter recently, I thought I’d do some random tests to try it out on a magnet base on top of a metal tool chest for GP:IC-2370a 44w on 2m @ 1.03IC-2370a 56w on 70cm @ 1.79IC-2370a 59w on 70cm @ 1.87AT-778uv 20w on 462 @ 1.0MTX275 9w on 467 @ 1.0Radios all tested at Max power:Icom @ 50wAnytone @ 25wMidland @ 15wSince I did hit a 59w on 440 once that showed 1.87, it looks like to me in my environment (with a cheapo China meter), that it’s pretty good UNDER 50w on 440, yrmv. Also, I should note (because we have to now days) that I’m not claiming it’s resonate on GMRS, just that it didn’t kill either radio on that frequency lol, I think another reviewer mentioned it works great for them in that regard. I use the 32” black 6db spring & 3db ghost NMO options for 462/467 but once I figure out the nano, I will experiment.

Very, very well pleased with the antenna
I can't say enough good about this antenna. It's the 3rd one I've tried and this one is leaps and bounds above the others. I use it on my truck for my baofeng uv-5r ham radio. The reception is 10 times better than the other two. I'm blown away by how well it works. I don't have my amateur radio license yet so I don't transmit with it now so I don't know how well it works for transmission. Absolutely love it!

Good antenna for the price.
Ordered a couple of these to setup pilot cars with vhf radios, used a kenwood tm-281a and these antennas worked out pretty good and has good range.
