This is a great mandolin, very sharp, and due to my own carelessness, I sliced off the entire tip of my finger, due to the sharpness of this blade, it was painless and my finger wasn’t too deformed, although I still have to wear a plaster months later, so who’s to say😉 but please be careful when using a mandolin, they are very sharp, be sure to use the huge guard provided with this tool and don’t be careless like I was. I haven’t had too much time to properly test the mandolin due to me being scared of mandolins now but it did slice through my finger cleanly and easily

Blades are sharp, multi functionality, easy to use and clean

I wanted to wait until I used this a few times to write a review. This Mandoline food slicer is so easy to use and clean. I use it to slice fruit and veggies, some for dehydration. The blade is very sharp. But I wear the gloves and use the slice guard. I can see how someone could injure themselves. Even my husband is afraid to use it. But you just have to be careful. What makes this product so great is the sharp blade.I also love the Julianne option. I just made some zucchini spaghetti recently and used the Julianne mode. It sliced it perfectly. Attaching a photo of the final result!As for the cleaning, it's so easy! I am usually put off by the cleaning part. But I rinsed with hot water and soap. Just be careful, again, with the blade.I highly recommend this if you're looking for a good slicer.

Cut top of my finger off :(Fairly easy to use, comes with safety kit and gloves etc. Bit of a faff to set up but decent bit of kit.Chucked mine as too accident prone

Used this for the first time yesterday to thinly slice potatoes, I am very impressed with the design. The adjustments are easy to manage and I like not having to change over sharp blades which runs a risk of cutting myself. The slider holding the vegetable gives good protection to the hand and fingers, I think the greatest risk of cutting yourself may come when cleaning it after so be careful. It comes with safety gloves so wear them if you wish to. The blade has a plastic safety cover for when in storage. This product has been well thought out.

Had my raw veg ready to cut up.The dial to adjust the cutting setting was very hard to turn, and then failed. I never put excessive force on things and am often accused of being too timid in using tools by my other half.Plastic not strong enough to take torque .. and they need to check items work before sending them out. I guess this could just be a bad apple ... but things that take torque need to be metal.

Slicing Korean style carrot salad but its not easy, its good for soft vegetables and fruits cuts are super thiny . Its takes time to use to use it. Use gloves for safety !
