This is just the box, no mounting plate.
This is relatively well made and is exactly the small size I wanted which is not common.

Be Aware
This is a very well made softbox as usual with Glow products. Be aware, however, that it is not as inexpensive as it seems, as the speed ring is not included and must be purchased separately—making it fairly expensive for its size, or twice the actual price because the speeding cost as much as the box.

Great Size, Slight Problem, Easy Fix
This softbox is very cheap (under $30US when I bought it), but not cheaply made. The material feels very durable. I have been using it with a speedlight Nikon SB800 and an Alienbee B400 and it works very well. The support rods are metal. It is easy to put together. It even includes a velcro release on one support end. I had no problem taking it part without using that release. The inner baffle and diffusion front seem kind of light (1/2 diffusion). I replaced it with a with one that is a full diffusion. The photo of Lily is with the original diffusion, and the photo of me is with full grid cloth (Lee). The inner baffle connects with elastic loops and a metal clip on each end.I do prefer the softboxes that use velcro for this because the clips can be a bit of a pain taking on and off.The only real problem or gripe is that the ends of the softbox that go around the speedring. The ends are a little long and restrict the rotation of the box on a speedring. The photos showed my fix which was sewing them back a bit: 1/4" on the short end and 3/8" on the long end. You could just cut them but I think this a better solution. You don't need any special sewing machine. I used a budget Brother model I picked up from "Wally world".I purchased this softbox for shooting portraits. I would recommend this softbox.Good construction and durable material, and it is easy to put together. I did not notice anyThank you for checking out my review.
