Q: what comes in the GB70 package?

In the GB70 I recently purchased, it came with a paper manual, drawstring bag, the battery with attached jumper cables, XGC cable, 12V male and female plugs (cigarette lighter adaptors) and USB type A to micro cable. It can be charged or provide power via either cable.

Q: What are the cranking ams and peak ams?

The NOCO Genius Boost HD GB70 2000 Amp 12V UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starter is rated in joules. Calculating in joules as a measurement of power multiplied by time, demonstrates the actual starting power as opposed to the peak amp measurement over an indefinite amount of time. It has a peak current rating of 2000 Amps and is rated at 15700 joules. As a reference a traditional 1700 peak amp lead acid battery jump pack has 6950 joules. In general you should not discharge Lithium batteries below 20% so you would have 3,840 usable Watts for operating your device. 3,840/30=128 indicates that you might expect 128 hours of operation from a GB20.

Q: Is this okay to leave in the car in the winter?

Yes, periodically charge the unit though, like every 4 or 6 weeks.
