REVISION: The seller, who sent the wrong package refunded us. Raised the stars because it feels like a mistake that was corrected, and that a child could appreciate the item. The seller had two weight descriptions: 264g and 250g, with 0.39oz (11g) blocks. The package they sent says 240g.The seller showed a box that states 8+. Box received stated 3+.Ordered this "24 color" set, based on the image the seller showed of the package and the 24 colors. I needed the medium gray, light gray, white and black for a project. Shown were subtle, warm tones. There were also soft jades, purples and blues in their image. Received harsh cold bright colors. Dark cold gray instead of the soft medium gray or soft light gray. Bright/harsh/cold magentas, blues, green, yellow, blues, neon orange, muddy maroon, BROWN, and bubble gum pinks. No dark purple. No soft jades, No light/warm blues. The packaging was not the same as shown in the photos. The inner plastic that held the tray had a slit in it. Who took out the good colors? The "included tools", not close to what seller's photos had. They are in a similar pink. 1) Resembles the butter knife looking tool. Not as curved and has a ring on the end. 2) A thicker and blunt 'scooper', without a grip and with a ball on the other end instead of a point. The 'ball' could not really be used to indent a hole into your clay, because it has a sloppy plastic end on it, that looks like it was snapped off of a mold. 3) An angled spatula with a grip. Same useless ball on the end, no point, and the spatula has a bumpy edge instead of a nice smooth edge. The bumps are not defined enough to design with.It included a "project book", lol. It is a double-sided piece of paper that is 8" wide by 5" tall, with images of shapes used in four different items. Note that none of the items in the "project book", or on the seller's page, could be created with the colors received, and/or the small amount of each color block. There is always a plus for some people... This package could be used for making beads, if you do not mind receiving random colors to create with and would be an ok price for making a few beads.

Useful
I buy this type of product to add color to my white clay. I prefer to work in white so I have choices of finishes but sometimes I want just a touch 0f color to start with and find it easier to work with another clay rather than making a mess with mica powders etc. I would not use this particular clay alone because it is a very soft clay but using it to add color or tiny detail to other creations, it works really well.

Stickier than a toddler with a popsicle
It's okay clay, but wayyyyyy too soft and sticky which makes it really hard to use with detailed cutters or molds, even using corn starch and other tricks to avoid sticking. Bakes up fine once you manage to get it into the proper design.

Book of monsters
I enjoyed using this kit to make the tongue and scary teeth for the book of monsters in Harry Potter. It turned out well and I hot glued it onto a white paper box with magnetic flap on Amazon, added fake fur from Amazon, and some safety colored cat eyes and it worked great. Great activity for a Harry Potter fan. Instructions on Pinterest. O still have more clay for more projects, hopefully it doesn't dry out. I'll try to add a picture in the next few days

Would not waste your money
I purchased this because it was cheap and I neded a few more dollars added to my order to get free shipping. I use Sculpey clay all the time to make jewelry and sometimes I get a cheaper brand from my local Dollar General (all oven bake). So I figured it's oven bake it can't be any worse than the one I get from the dollar store sometimes that is just sticky (stick to my hands) but once molded and in the oven looks/feels just like the Sculpey brand..but I was wrong. It's very hard to mold at all. I mean really really really hard, it hurts my fingers just trying to knead or roll with a rolling pin. Once I finally molded the clay to my liking which took hours even for the smallest piece of clay it did bake fine like the others but there was a small difference in the way the clay looked compared to the others not huge difference but small difference. My biggest issue with this is just the hardness of the clay really. I don't know why it's so hard or if it's made with something different than the others but every single color was this way. I did try adding some of my plain white clay to some of this clay to see if the texture and hardness would change which it did not help much at all with that and it just lightens the color too much without it even getting any easier to mold.
