Will this work on deer?

Yes, we have had customers tell us the Zon Mark 4 scares deer away. Any animal that will be scared away with a loud noise will be scared away with the Zon Mark 4.

Can you operate this manually as needed to remove seagulls from my roof?

Hi there, Unfortunately this model cannot be controlled manually. This is a mechanical version, that can be set to go off at customized intervals, but not controlled remotely. This type of control would require an electronic controlled cannon (EL08) and a Push Button Activator. Give us a call at 831-422-9693 if you'd like more info or would like to order an EL08 cannon. how long can the timer be set for in between blasts?

for a Mark IV with no added clock, you can set the cannon to fire between 40 seconds and 30 minutes by simply turning the nob on the regulator to + or - If you turn the nob on the regulator to the - side so that it is barely open, this will set cannon to fire roughly every 30 minutes.
