Hex-Pro Termite Bait Stations are used with either the included wood monitors or Shatter termite bait when termite activity is found. (Shatter not included) Provides an environmentally sensible solution with a minimal amount of termite bait. Has low impact on human health, low toxicity to birds, fish and plants, and low potential for groundwater contamination when used according to label instructions. Requires no drilling in floors nor trenching around the home. Hex-Pro Termite Station Placement: Hex-Pro Termite Stations should be placed in the soil around the perimeter foundation of the structure. Recommended spacing is 8-10 feet, but should not exceed 20 feet where soil access is not restricted. In areas of known termite activity, auxiliary Hex-Pro termite stations may also be installed and baited immediately. Hex-Pro Termite Stations should not be placed in soil treated with pesticides (such as lawn applications or perimeter sprays) until such pesticide has dried. Avoid spraying the stations directly when making pesticide applications. Do not place stations in soil previously treated with a liquid termiticide. Monitoring of Hex-Pro Termite Stations: All Hex-Pro Termite Stations should be visually monitored at regular intervals for the presence or activity of termites. Monitoring should be conducted at approximately monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly intervals. The wood monitor should be replaced when severely damaged by other insects or fungal decay.

Bought as a backup. Still in box. But they are what I wanted. Should be great when I install them

Missing parts. Do not buy from this seller
Paid $550 for 50 of these that should come with a key to open them. Key was not sent with the items. The seller wants a picture of the missing item!! HOW DOES ONE TAKE A PICTURE OF A MISSING ITEM. Also, very slow shipping. The item was not shipped for 2 1/2 weeks and then only after I messaged them to ask where the item was. These people are horrible. BUY THESE FROM A DIFFERENT SELLER. The product itself is fine.

Put the product in the ground in Phoenix, Az in March 2020. We will see how it holds up under the sun scorch of the summer. No tool to open close included. So far so good.
