Great pointed tip, beautiful pen. Used it to try out. I would not recomment if you are heavy handed. Works like it is suppose to and feels good to hold on to. I recommend. Nothing writes like glass.

This pen set is stunning! I chose the blue/green one and it came with a glass rest and a little bottle of shimmering blue/green ink. It was purchased as a gift for a hostess on a trip I was going to take that never came about, so now it is mine!

I was surprised how well this one writes and how long the ink flowed. It's elegant and fun. People that like dip pens are sure to enjoy.

My best suggestion is to buy ink if you don't already have some. The ink I was supposed to receive was blue, but what I got was a very pale grey that had almost no pigmentation. Pigmentation is really important for linework which is what I use my pen for, and I would imagine even for lettering this would be really important. Maybe it was just the specific color they sent me but I needed to buy more ink seperately.Positives with the pen are that it writes really smooth and the ink goes a very long way. Unlike normal nib pens this one is easier for people who are left handed as well because you aren't pulling in the opposite direction of how a nib opens...none open on this so the direction won't matter. I guess the only negative for me with the pen so far has been less control over ink flow with pressure, but it is possible I just haven't gotten used to this type of pen yet...maybe? Overall it is definitely worth the price in my opinion.

I highly recommend this pen. I bought one for a friend and used it and loved it so much I bought another one for my son! The pen is heavy and great quality, and I dipped it one time and It wrote forever.

The pen arrived quickly. It was packaged well and well padded in the box. The tip was very scratchy and does not deliver the ink as it should to the paper. It leaves the ink very light on the page. I tried using the enclosed sand paper to adjust the tip but no matter what I do it has not improved. I will try some more but unless I can find just the right motion to smooth out the tip and make it deliver the ink better I don't see this getting any better.I would welcome any suggestions on how to improve the tip. The pen body is really beautiful.

I really love writing with this glass pen. It writes smoothly with no hang ups. And I love that the way it leaves ink on the paper. And o appreciate that it comes with a bottle of ink although, it’s not the best ink for this type of pen. I’ve had great success with Speedballs India ink. Calligraphy inks don’t flow as well for me.

I got this pen because a YouTuber recommended it and I was pleased. I was reading the reviews and it seemed that you were not able to choose the color so I was worried that I would not like the color, but I got black! The pen was not broken, and the nib was protected by a cover. The ink flows easily and is super comfortable to hold. With its price, I definitely think that you should get this!
