Bright white lights , look really good in the garden . Needed this set as an extension for previously bought set .

Good quality this is the 3rd set I’ve bought, to extend my garden lighting.

Used for a marquee 6x12 metres, and lit the indoor space well. Easy to use and hang, so we'll try them outside next summer. Good value for money.

Received my light yesterday, they look great and the fact that they had two spare bulbs was good. However, notice the hook on, the one side. This is great if they are facing the correct side to fix. You can not turn them around, so fixing mine were far more awkward. Basically plugging them in the electricity supply at m house, meant all the hang hooks were facing me not the fence side.If I started with the other end it would have been fine, however I have no power supply that end.try and get the ones where the hooks are on the top not on the side.Manageable though!

To all the people who said they received these with a few bulbs broken or that they fill up with water after a while - the string of lights arrives with the bulbs not screwed in fully/properly. So it looks like some bulbs are broken, while the working ones, if not screwed in fully, will let in water and stop working at some point in the near future.I bought 4 strings - all the bulbs come loosely fitted.Lay the string out on the ground, plug it in, then for each bulb, screw it in firmly, and move on to the net one. Tighten firmly, but not super hard, otherwise the bulb will break. You can feel when the bulb makes good contact with the holder.The bulb holders obviously need to hang down, otherwise water will seep into the fitting.If you are installing in a professional location, or really want to ensure they last the longest, buy a tube or tub of waterproof electrical gel and put some around the metal screw bases of the bulbs before installing the bulbs.In summary, great item, and as with most things, correct and careful installation results in long reliable life.

Put 2 together in series, look very smart & bright.

Initially these very quite impressive but the durability is very poor. Very quickly the lamps were filling up with water. This was after two months of use.Not what you expect when they are supposed to be for permanent outdoor use. They were bought in the first instance because of the claim they were durable.

Used these for our miniature railway clubs Santa Special's last Dec & for a few other events after that as they turned out to be very effective. The ability to join them together to make longer runs has worked out really well. The light levels are perfect for lighting our paths so visitors can safely see where they are going. Very good purchase!! Highly recommended.
