Great compact editing station
I have a larger room for mixing/mastering which I try to keep very uncluttered, and a more cramped space for tracking and editing, and this desk is perfect for that space! I have a cheap midi controller (Nektar Impact LX 25+) that fits perfectly in the keyboard pullout shelf. I mounted it in reverse so it gives an extra couple of inches to protrude enough to use all of the pots at the top. I use a laptop on the main surface with plenty of space for external drives, interfaces, and USB hubs, and I have an additional 24" monitor on the top shelf with enough space left over for a couple of small flat response monitors.Assembly wasn't an issue, everything fit together nicely, and everything is sturdy. It might wobble slightly side to side but only if you are really making dramatic movements or getting too wild with your mouse (hey calm down!). Overall, well worth the money!

Affordable production desk
The media could not be loaded. I have been very impressed with the functionality and quality of the Monoprice Studio desk. A functional desk for music production is important. The desk is an essential item in every Studio but these desks can be expensive. This is where Monoprice, saves the day. It's a small desk, with a small footprint, and where it shines best is the height of the top shelf. It puts my speakers right at ear level. The sounds I can hear since incorporating this desk is exponential. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a music production desk but also not interested in spending the hundreds of dollars. I made modifications to my desk to fit my needs but at its basic level, it fixed all of my issues in my productions. Monoprice also has a larger studio desk with more features, and also very affordable.

Solid Product
I was looking for something to get my Velaton GP200 off the floor and up with my laptop. With its multi levels and keyboard mouse slide out platform this is perfect. I can now sit and play my guitars in front of the desk while creating new patches, playing or writing. Went together with no issues.

Shoddy Design, Faulty Parts
The screw holes did not match (by a long shot) on the main frame, rendering it impossible to put together properly. Returned it immediately. This was a used item, so maybe it was a defective unit. If so, it should not have been re-sold. Take your chances, but generally not recommended.

Ehhh !
For almost $90, this studio desk misses the mark.Putting it together was fairly easy despite the vague picture instructions. The MDF wooden material is of better quality than others I've purchased. The metal frame is of a low quality steel or aluminum, Do Not over tighten any of the screws or bolts because stripping them is very easy!Overall, I should've measured out the dimensions with a tape measure before purchasing this desk, the desk appears larger in pictures even in some customer review picture it seemed larger.I have a MPC ONE PLUS and a Machine MK3 side by side on the main platform and a Akai MPK mini hiding behind the MPC's and a small monitor with some small speakers on the top shelf, the keyboard shelf is barely large enough to house a PC keyboard and mouse. So after getting it together and putting most of my equipment on it I was disappointed at how packed my gear looks and feels.
