Easy install
Made installing the lights a breeze. Easy to use and no problems at all.

Easy to use but gets SCORCHING hot (UPDATE - issue resolved - changed from 3 to 5 stars)
2nd ReviewPautix contacted me about my issue (see 1st review below) and provided customer service one rarely sees today. They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They were thorough and timely in their responses. They even sent me an entire new set with diagrams on how to install. They sent me an updated design of the 'L' connectors which solved my problem. There was no heat being generated anymore and the lights work perfectly. Generally speaking, I prefer COB above LED as COB is a cleaner look, it looks like a solid bar of light as opposed to seeing the individual diodes on LED strips. HIGHLY recommend Pautix, not only for great products but for their spectacular customer service and taking care of consumers. I'd give more than 5 stars if it were possible.1st ReviewSo I installed COB lights on the back of my 75 inch. Lights (by the same company: Pautix) look great honestly. Really pleased with the overall look. I used 3 of the 'L' connectors. 2 of the 3 are fine, generates no heat. Odd thing is, of the 1 'L' connector that is generating heat, it's only on 1 side and it is BURNING hot, to the point, it's painful to touch. Given the set came with 4 'L' connectors, I decided to swap it out with another 'L' connector to see if the problem persists and it STILL generates a ton of heat. It's a bit concerning cause I think it's gonna burn up or cause a fire. Too bad, b/c I think for the most part it's a great products, just can't seem to understand why 1 side of 1 'L' connector generates a ton of heat.

using connector tips
These do work well, but the first one I tried didn't work. Checked with a voltmeter and had 9 volts up to the connector. but not on the lights.Simple Tips:-Watch the video and note the direction of the black and red wires to the light stripe with the yellow side up. Not sure it makes a difference (positive and neutral sides to stripe???) but once I placed the black on the left side of the light stripe looking down with the black and red wires further from you than the light stripe and have the yellow side of light stripe up. Video is easier to see what I mean. They worked every time.-Cut the light stripe so that you leave more copper tab length on the end. In other words, don't cut in the center but a little off-center to leave a little more copper tab length on the light stripe you are using. This gives more area for the crimp to contact.-Install the crimp connector with the metal crimps facing up, or the same side as the yellow light stripe.-My light stripe did not slide in as easily as in the video. So when you peel back the adhesive cover, I then rubbed some adhesive off on the tip with my fingers and a light alcohol wipe so that it would slide into the connector without the adhesive preventing it from sliding in.-Last I covered the connector with electrical tape to prevent shorting of the 2 metal crimps that are still exposed after you pinch (crimp) them down with plyers. Unlikely but mine was under a kitchen cabinet and water could short it out if the connector gets wet.
