My two grandsons love it, when they want to be alone, they zip it up and stay in their room until they are ready to eat.

I'd recommend a nonslip mat for the box spring so it doesn't start to slid off also a little light would be helpful a little fan also because it can get warm if you have it closed up if you open the vents you won't need it but for privacy a fan is recommended

My son has been using a “dream tent” for years and when we saw this he got very excited because he wouldn’t have to have the flaps touching his body at the waste. We finally got to install it this evening before bed and he instantly fell in love! I’m only knocking off one star because it does seem like it’s going to get very hot in there. It would be nice if, like with any tent, you could have a zipper for the door as well as a separate zipper to open a window on the door to let in air.It was easy enough to set up but I can’t imagine trying to do it with a larger mattress than the twin my son has.My husband is totally jealous and wants to take naps in it now. 😂

Pros: Bedtime was always a fight but that is no longer the case. We’ve only had it a little over a week and my 8-year-old grandson loves it so far. No assembly required. It just sprang open once removed from the packaging.Cons: I would have preferred velcro closures over zippers & it took about 2 weeks to arrive, which is odd for Amazon.

I originally received a bed tent that was damaged with rods that had snapped but I contacted the seller and they unhesitatingly sent me a new one! It's everything I needed, keeps the bugs out and keeps the light out. The only thing is I wish the 2 big sides had a zippered mesh cover like the front and back do because I get kind of hot in it. Otherwise, it's great! 5 stars for their customer service👍

UPDATE: Alvantor reached out to me to try and make this right, I'll provide updates on how it goes. They say they have a new version that they will send as a replacement.Original review:Ordered one of these, popped it open, found that the flexible rod sewn into the tent was snapped. It is not removable, replaceable, or fixable. There is a single rod that loops around the entire tent and creates tension to hold it open, the break means it won't hold its designed shape.We got Amazon to send a replacement and it arrived with the rod snapped as well, just in a different spot.Here's the worst part - due to the break in the rod the tent cannot be re-folded in order to return it. So now I have two of these and Amazon wants to charge me for both of them, but it is physically impossible to fold/wind them back into shipping shape because the broken rod snags and does not allow it.Amazon Support has stated my only option is to buy my own box big enough to send them back then when they are received I can request reimbursement for the box I bought. Now I have to figure out where to get a 5' x 5' by 6" box to cram these *%^%@#$^ things into and try to return it.Avoid these at all costs.

It's exactly what we wanted. We love it. The mattress fits right in the tent, and the tent sits on the box spring. The only thing I wish it did have was the option for screens on the sides. It does come with screen option at the top and bottom of the tent, just not on the sides.

Update: After this review Avantor reached out and requested photos of the defective parts. After photos were taken and messages sent back and forth. Avantor agreed to replace the item. As of this post I have not opened the replacement item or used it yet.I thought it was a great product. I purchased the queen size pongee material. When I tried to take it down I read the instructions as well as watched the video and tried to emulate what I saw. The cheap connecting joint gave way. Looks like they used white duct tape to try to hold it in place. The jagged metal ripped thru the material and got me. Very disappointing. Please make this right.
