Used for speakers but still in my hoarders box

I used this to wire a Nest thermostat and I was concerned that the thin wire would drop the 12V voltage too much. However, all seems OK and the solid core meant the wire holds it shape when installing along top of cabinets etc. I formed the core into a loop before screwing into terminal block.There's printing on the wire every so often so you can ensure polarity is maintained.All in all, decent value.

I purchased this wire to install a 12-volt fan in my motorhome roof. What I received was not solid copper as advertised, but aluminum wire with a thin copper coating. This is extremely dangerous for low-voltage systems — it's about half as conductive as real copper, which means it can overheat and potentially cause a fire. Had I not caught this in time, it could have burned my entire van down.After spending a full day routing these wires through the roof — hot, exhausted, and thinking the job was done — I now have to remove everything and start over with proper wiring. Thankfully, I read some of the 1-star reviews and double-checked the material myself. It's shocking that Amazon still hasn't corrected this listing, even though complaints about this issue date back as far as 2016.I've filed a formal complaint and have been told the matter is being looked into. Hopefully, action is taken quickly. In the meantime, I strongly urge others: don’t buy this. Spend a little more and get genuine copper wire. Your safety is worth it.

Good quality product. Used this to connect smart door bell camera to existing bell transformer. The wire took a lot of beating while I threaded it through holes through upvc door frames and bricks.

Good quality wire. Used 17metres for ring door bell pro and it shows a good voltage rating on the ring door bell app.
