Save your money and buy this over the Magic Keyboard
I don’t have a Magic Keyboard so maybe I’m unaware of what makes them so great. I tried one in the Apple store and didn’t see what justifies the price. The keys have a nice feel to them and the pass-through charging is handy if you use it all the time, but that’s still not enough reason for me to spend that kind of money. So I got this one and I’m glad I did.I’ve had it for about a year, often traveling out of state with it in my backpack, and have had no issues with it. It types just as well as others and lights up like it’s supposed to. I’ve dropped my iPad on hardwood floors multiple times and this case has kept it locked in place and protected it from cracks, dents, and scratches even when the case was open. I’ve only charged the battery a few times since owning it, partially because it goes to sleep if I forget to turn it off. The little leather tab has kept my knockoff Apple Pencil in place over the past year during the same hard drops and travels as well. What I like most is the swivel action and backward folding that allow me to use it in any angle I need. That’s when other people tend to notice it and compliment it as well. I often hang it off my dresser drawer upside down at night when watching shows in bed. It has such a thoughtful design.The standard for me with most products is whether I would buy another to replace it if it this one breaks or gets lost, and I absolutely would.

Good product
This is really a good product. I use it daily for class & I would say the mouse pad isn’t the most like “sturdy” but I don’t really use it anyways. The keyboard is super easy and feels good to type on. I know it has a bunch of stuff for the keys but I haven’t really used it often as I just touch my iPad with my iPad pencil. But I love this and it’s useful to rotate and put away and play games or set your iPad up :)

No complaints about the function! I love the weight of it. It doesn’t tip over when I tilt the screen back. For reference, I have an iPad Air m3.I deducted a star because it’s hard to close it and keep the corners matched up. But overall I love it. And I’ve included a typing video so you can hear the sound of the keyboard :)

I really like the keyboard part it’s great. Work wonderful with iPad. Use it for almost everything even typing lessons. It’s a little small for my hands but that’s a minor problem. Like the option of different lights to switch from and you can pick which color case you want

DURABLE
This thing is tough!!!! My iPad fell off the pickup on the interstate going 75, used find my iPhone to find it assuming everything got ran over…. THE CASE AND THE IPAD STILL WORK!!! If that doesn’t say enough about the quality of this product for the price I don’t know what will! The iPad did pop out on impact but landed in the grass, ill say it again it flew off a moving vehicle at 75 mph and still works. I use this case everyday for work and it holds up in outside rough conditions, keys work great and feel like my Mac book, holds a charge great and over all sleek! I was planning on ordering a new one after it happened but it still works just fine, great protection! Will rebuy

For Short-Term use, things start to wear-down after 3-5 months.
So I got this around the beginning of the fall semester for my IPAD and for a while it was the greatest asset to my iPad. But overtime the issues started to add on. 1) The color will wear off onto everything if it rubs against it which is bound to happen especially if you're a student like me who keeps their iPad and laptop together for on-the-go assignments. 2) The keyboard started to become lagger and the mouse got even harder to use so I just didn't use it at all. 3) The apple pencil holder over time will stop holding your apple pencil, the amount of times I've almost lost my apple pencil in public because the holder gave up..? <//3. But then I realized... I paid way less for this than I would've paid for an apple one, so for it's value is a great SHORT-TERM solution, not long-term. (RESIDUE ON 2ND PIC IS FROM A STICKER)

Scratches easily and a bit wobbly but very good!
It works great! Connects easily. Comfortable to type on. The design is great. Love how you can swivel it to any viewing angle AND go into tablet mode. The swivel is secure, but there's a gap between the top and keyboard bottom, and you can very easily push them down to touch each other. But I've had it for a while, and through general use and travel (switching from tablet to computer mode a lot). It got scratched very easily, but these are cosmetic damages, and I'm prioritizing functionality and a decent price, so it doesn't concern me too much. I've had no complaints on battery life either
