Excellent sound quality and pairs like charm with the main soundbar. Bad experience with Amazon customer care but pleasantly surprised by the Philips customer care and prompt handling. Few things to highlight1. Good sound quality and clarity2. Base heavy3. Perfectly executes surround sound and Dolby Atmos4. Subwoofer is big5. Setting up of system is very easy6. Difficult to figure out connection with Wi-Fi

This is the best soundbar cum home theatre one can buy right now. This is mind-blowing. I purchased it recently. The sound is phenomenal. This is better than any other expensive home theatre available right now from brands like jbl, sony or bose. The soundbar alone has 5 speakers, plus 2 rear speakers make it 7.1 . It has the highest level of clearity you will ever listen on any soundbar. The subwoofer also is amazing. I have not seen such floor shaking bass in any subwoofer. Believe me i have done lot of research and listened various soundbars like sony ht709rf . Lg sn8y, jbl 9.1 etc etc before purchasing this from amazon as this is unavailable on local stores.I could not get this level of sound from any other brand.

I purchased the Philips TAB8967 soundbar in July 2024, expecting a true Dolby Atmos experience. After persistent issues and 11 months of follow-up, I finally received a refund in June 2025, only after escalating the matter to the point of legal action.Key issues:- Dolby Atmos was inconsistently detected when connected to my Hisense 75U7K TV, both via HDMI eARC and HDMI IN.- Random bass spikes occurred when content was played via the TV.- HDMI IN ports were unstable, frequently displaying blank screens when used with a Fire TV Stick.Extremely poor support and accountability:- Customer support was mostly unresponsive, ignoring messages for weeks.- The technical team lacked basic tools and test files to verify Dolby Atmos functionality.- No testing was done when the original unit was taken back.- I had to spend time and money to buy expensive replacement cables, create video recordings, demonstrate issues in person to the technician, and explain the problems myself—the burden of proof was entirely placed on me, not Philips.- The first unit was later found to have a disconnected internal speaker, discovered only during a home visit—clear evidence of poor quality control.- A refund was issued only after sustained escalation and legal pressure.Verdict:Key features like Dolby Atmos and HDMI IN are unreliable. If they don’t function, and yet contribute to the price, the product fails its purpose.I’ve trusted and purchased Philips products in the past, but this experience has seriously diminished my confidence in the brand. The product issues, poor quality control, and lack of accountability were not what I expected from a reputed name.Update: Bought Samsung Q930D. Working excellent. Person visited did extremely thorough checks and demo. Proved that Philips product and service was poor.

I've purchased this product on amazon sale and it is phenomenal for the price range.The quality from Philips is of premium range. I initially had connectivity issues with the sound system but Philips customer care were really helpful in guiding with the TV settings to adjust accordingly for atmos support. The Connectivity is seemelss and sound is wonderful , giving you a near theater experience.Overall I would recommend this to everyone

Good one to have in small rooms, not suitable for big halls. Has preset equivalizer, Has individual channel control. Relies heavily on the subwoofer for lower frequencies (lower than 150Hz) even for deep voice. At least the Surround speakers should support lower frequencies for the surround effect. Surround speaker works but not to it's full potential due to this frequency limitation. I owned a 5.1 audio system before with 6" speakers that support full frequency range. This feels a downgrade a bit but I am ok with my purchase as the product supports major dolby formats. There is no mention of DTS support in product page so I doubt DTS is supported. Price could have been little lower.
