On a Lexus GX470? ~ Wife can't stop giggling (great sound!)
I cut nearly the entire exhaust off our 2007 Lexus GX470 and replaced it with this Thrush 36" Glass Pack and a down turned chromed exhaust tip, to get the gases away from the cabin. I'm handy with a welder so this whole project was under $40 and a couple of hours ~ the pipe end was a butt weld and the tip end was an easier slip on; however, I welded both sides all the way shut. This thing sounds amazing! ~ Definitely louder than stock but mostly in a deep purring kind of way that you almost don't hear at idle with the windows closed (it's still a Lexus) ~ Unless, you put your foot into it: then it definitely makes your presence known to any traffic around you! (and yet it is still not "setting off car alarms" loud) In spite of weighing less and allowing the exhaust gas to exit with less restriction, our gas mileage is currently suffering because my wife and I are revving the engine simply to for the joy of feeling the V8 vibrate the cabin a little bit and oh, what fun in parking garages! I expect that to change soon ..and I also expect this to get a little louder with age ~ It's a beautiful thing ~ tht GX feels new to us again. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that you have to grind off a bunch of paint to weld it up which wastes time. Still giving it 5 stars though ~ what more do you want at this price point?

Absolute Perfection
Fit perfectly on a 1997 Jeep ZJ, replacing the muffler. Beautiful low tone, wakes up when you get on it, and no “drone”. I am very pleased. We will see if it holds up in a year or so.

Great product for the price
These are great for toning down any exhaust they fit into. I put a header/flex pipe and catback on my '03 Focus ZX3 that was all straight pipe with a straight thru design borla muffler that was.. a little obnoxious. Put this thrush on and it mellowed it way down and brought it to a nice respectable noise level. The only thing is the length they provide is the length of the body, not the in/out pipe so you'll have to add about 6" to the length. Had to improvise a little on my exhaust because of this.

On a I4
The media could not be loaded. After the install of my performance header the exhaust was loud and raspy. Went with this glasspack off a tip and it actually tamed the sound and made it deeper. Only allowed one video upload (poop) but it did wonders. 2.25" pipe with high-flow cat, no resonator, glasspack and Vibrant performance oval muffler. (For the video sake. Imagine the exhaust 2x louder and raspier.) Very happy with purchase.

Great glasspack brand for the money
Really nice glasspack, they are all relatively made the same but I much prefer thrush for the way they pack their tubes and the fact they come pre-painted to prevent immediate corrosion or rust. the always give my exhausts a nice deep rich tone and cut pretty much all the drone out all at once, but it may depend on where you place it in the system and how long of a pack you get. either way. I like thrush and I'll be sticking with em as always.

Beefy
well I decided to wait to make this review. I installed this on a 2001 ford ranger 3.0 v6 and man it sounds mean. After month the glass pack kind of breaks in and changes sound a bit but it's been about 5 months now and it sounds great! Doesn't sound like a ranger anymore sounds like it's got something much bigger like an f150. And don't be deceived it sounds so much better from the outside than inside. Hearing it being driven by someone else it sounds like a v8. Best 18$ you'll ever spend. Probably the best value for the money too. Although I still don't know how long it will last, holding up pretty good
