Easy set up and works great.
This is a really nice little trail cam it was an easy setup SD cards already in it. And I realized that these batteries weren't very strong so I went out and bought some really good batteries and they seem to last much longer. I had problems in my backyard with a neighbor bringing homeless and drugs in and so this was nice to be able to see what was happening in my own backyard. I would definitely buy this again. The night vision is very clear, great functionality and takes great clear pictures.

Nice camera, good price & easy to use!
Suspected we had a skunk under our shed so got this camera to find out. The camera takes really nice daytime photos/videos in color and black/white at night with audio if you want. Recorded birds, chipmunks, rabbits, opossums AND the skunk. There are probably babies so we'll leave her alone until fall, but at least we know the times she moves around using the photo time stamp option. The instructions are easy to follow for setting up the camera, and it's fun to see what's roaming around our country yard. It would also be a good security camera to check for unwanted people. If you take lots of videos, it does run down the batteries fairly quickly so planning on getting the better batteries mentioned in the manual. Like the included USB cord to plug into our laptop to view photos. You can view photos on the camera's small screen too.Added day and night photos.

Solid budget trail cam
The media could not be loaded. As a newbie trail cam user, I purchased three of these to experiment in an area I knew there were a lot of deer. My results exceeded my expectations.PROs* Easy to set up. Intuitive interface.* Robust menu* Good quality video and photos* Battery usage seems ok so far.* Motion detector seems to work well.* Worked fine in low temperatures.CONs* I purchased three. Two were fine and one had to be sent back because the night vision did not work. The camera was triggering at night, except video and photos were pure black.* Strap buckle is cheap plastic. I broke the first one immediating by cinching it too tightly. I purchased a replacement with metal buckle that works much better.* The guide recommended the "low" motion detection setting for cold weather, but I realized I was definitely missing action. I changed the setting to medium and it worked better.* Sometimes video will begin with animal nearby in the middle of the frame, so obviously it does not always trigger as soon as it should.Overall, for the price this is a decent camera with good quality video, full features and good motion detection. I'm sure much more expensive models may perform better, but for someone just having fun with wildlife watching, it fits the bill for me.

BEST most RELIABLE for SECURITY CAMERAS-No need 2 Rely on Internet or Power!
I bought this based on all the positive reviews and was needing to find something that didn't rely on power or internet. I paid more than what it is advertised for now but still worth it! The night vision I have to say isn't the greatest....but it's okay. I guess I was expecting it to be a little better based on the images I saw but I also have to say that if you live in an area that gets REALLY hot, this little guy can really stand up to heat well over 100 degrees! I forget what the exact temperature is that it says it can go up to, but I do have it in an area where it gets a little bit of shade. The most frustrating thing about the traditional security cameras like I said is that they all want to rely on internet or power so when I happened to come across trail cams I was elated! I do have to say by my own fault (I should have known better) I used the crappy batteries that came with it and they only lasted just over 2 weeks. In fact, when reviewing the images/clips from the SD card I saw that even though they were full when I put them in, they went down to half full after only two days lol. So ya, I should have known not to trust the cheap batteries but thankfully I kept an eye on it and noticed the IR wasn't coming on as much one night, and the second night not at all. The 3rd night I took it down and the issue was the dead batteries. Other than that I am impressed with what it captures. I really recommend this to anyone who is mobile as well, whether that is van life, car camping, rv, etc. bc you can still have a security system without having to worry about the issues I already mentioned. I've never understood even in a regular home how the security cameras that depend on internet and power function when those go out...but that's not for me to figure out. All I have to say that this is a SOLID option and unless you have someone who is looking for it, you can easily find a semi-discreet spot for it. Other than that, it's a deterrent for people who see it's there and may have ill intentions. The daytime images and video are impressive quality in my opinion and as far as the format they are in, I just popped the SD card in my laptop which is a few years old and I had no issue with them playing or showing. Def gonna be buying more! I also likes that this comes with a SD card already in it and programmed. (Make sure to read the directions-it's already inside the trail cam for you!). The setup and directions and simple. Other than the crappy batteries it comes with, this thing is solid and reliable, especially if you are using it for security purposes. I can't recommend it enough!!!!

Takes good photos and video but uses up batteries VERY FAST
The media could not be loaded. This camera does a nice job of taking photos and short videos. BUT is goes through batteries VERY QUICKLY.Positives:Easy to set up.Good priceTakes good photos during day and nightSD card comes in and out easy (I find using a tweezers helpful for that)Negative:It burns through batteries very quickly. Used up a set of batteries in THREE DAYS.Controls can only be accessed after opening the case.Buttons are a bit small.Instructions are just adequate.Overall, an adequate wildlife camera, but the battery issue is a serious one.My grade is a C
