I selected this desk because it was the only one small enough for my tight space. I'm very pleased with the quality in this price range, and would recommend it for anyone else.I needed help moving the box to my second floor apartment. It's very heavy. I appreciate Amazon drivers so much! But the box did not look promising. It showed a lot of wear and had several gauges in it, but I was very pleased to find that there was no damage to the desk inside. It is well-packed.It took me about 3 hours to assemble by myself, and for the most part the instructions were quite clear.It would have taken about 1/3 less time had I assembled step 7 correctly and not had to disassemble the desk later to fix it in step 14.Just FYI, part 7 in step 7 is symmetrical, so it can be put together in two different ways, without an apparent problem. Be sure that the finished edge faces away from part number 8. Then you will have a much better time than I had. It's difficult, at that stage of the instructions, to visualize exactly what you're assembling, and the diagrams are not detailed enough to tell which way it's supposed to go.With other furniture I've purchased on Amazon, I've had experience with cam bolts not locking tightly and pieces falling apart. This was not the case here. These worked very nicely.While the finished item is quite sturdy sitting on the floor of my bedroom, I think a good amount of care should be taken not to put any kind of twisting stress on the joints when moving the desk. I'd recommend team lifting rather than dragging or pushing.I think this desk is an exceptional value, having just recently spent almost $100 more for a 14 x 24.5 inch end table at a local furniture store, just because I wanted a matching set.The only thing I wish were different is the depth of the drawers. There's only 11 and 1/4 in of depth inside of the drawer, even though the desk itself is 20 and a half inches deep. So, there's about 6 1/4 in of wasted space behind the drawers that can't be used for storage.Nevertheless, I highly recommend this desk!

The desk is exactly as advertised. I'm working with limited space and needed something close in size to an existing piece of furniture I had. It is perfect. The drawers were smaller than the ones I had previously, but still accommodated all of my things. The wod is a little weak, so don't bang on it putting together like I did. The fit up may be a little off due to manufacturing inconsistencies. But overall it is worth what it costs.

Assembly is long and fairly complicated. The instructions are accurate, but sorta confusing in some places. All the parts were precisely cut, every hole was precisely positioned, and everything fitted together perfectly. It's held together with dozens of hidden fasteners, which worked well. The result is a solid, rigid, stable desk.That said, the drawer slides are not great, which, considering the relatively low price, is not surprising. They have to be positioned and screwed on very carefully with small wood screws, paying close attention to keeping the screw heads flush with the rails.My main complaint, and the reason for only four stars, is the drawers: they are only 11" deep, and only pull out only 7". Yet there is fully 6" of empty space behind every one! They could easily have been 5" deeper, at a relatively small but worthwhile incremental cost and price. Otherwise the desk is nicely designed. For me it's an interim desk (it was quickly available) in a new, smaller living space, until I find the one I really want.

This desk is outstanding. Well made and it is perfect for my prayer room.

First off the instructions and items are not matching. While i do believe this is indeed the same desk, either the instructions have the wrong pieces printed on it, or they incorrectly cut some of the larger holes.For example, the drawer hardware to attach to the main boards were not the same length as the instructions have printed.Secondly, the "wood" is so poorly made that the desk could not handle the rotate that was needed to put the top piece on. The screws came out and destroyed the desk entirely.If the seller is willing to replace the damaged parts then i will redo my review with the completed build. but until then, its less than 1 star for me.

Pros: Easy step by step instructions. All parts are labeled by letter. All parts were included. Looks nice and drawers open with ease. I like the shelf and compartments. Lots of space to put all your desk needs. Customer service is responsive and helpful. Cute little shelf. Bought for my 11 years room to do homework. She loves it.Cons: Rails for drawers came bent up had to get a replacement. Knob for door came dented. Paint easily chips when putting in screws. Even thou it was easy to put together it was time consuming going back and fourth between replacement unit trying to find the least damged parts. Made out of plywood. A little wobbly. I'm hoping it last a few years for school.

It's very sturdy. Weighing 72 pounds. But it feels like more. Many people say it's a kids desk but it's not. I am almost 6 foot and most of that height is in my legs and I have room to spare. The drawers roll out nicely. There is room to put a computer monitor on top shelf.One glitch… keep in mind.... There are so many freaking pieces to this desk so it will take time to build it, but it is not a hard build. It's rather easy just time-consuming or you can do what I did and have your spouse/kid/family/friend build it and repay them with fresh homemade brownies. That'll work!It's a great sturdy desk. Meant for adults as well. Great for the price. Enjoy! I will.

This desk is working for me. The drawers are a little small if you are looking for bigger drawer space. It’s very stable and very heavy. It’s worth the cost.
