For the price...very happy with this.It is your basic idea quality screw together wood furniture.With that being said I think it was worth what I paid for it....packaged well, looks good, it went together well, it came with extra screws, in the end the parts lined up and it was as sturdy as expected (more on that in a second).For an office with many many opens and closes a day it would not be good...but for home use it will last a long time.Now...when I put ikea kind of furniture together I always start on a level surface like the dining room hardwood floor (not living room carpet). Put it together like the instructions say...but I always use glue on every single panel that attaches to another and ALWAYS GLUE THE TRACKS!!!. Use thick slow drying glue....put it together quickly, and when assembled and completed leave the assembled furniture on the flat surface and use something to give it a gentle lean/push or twist till you see everything line up perfectly...then let it sit there till your glue drys...With that process and tightening your screws perfectly (the small screws in particle board strip easier than most think)...you will have a nice piece of "OK" furniture.I am happy with this and glad I bought it. remember, build on level ground, DO NOT over tighten screws, use some good thick slow drying glue, gentle push to hold perfect straight till all glue drys....and you have a very solid file cabinet for your home.(And with the little screws you will have extra of..put them in the tracks in the middle...extra support helps)

This review is for the 3 large drawer wood file cabinet. It took a long time before I ran across this one. All the others were metal. Very happy with it. All the pieces fit together perfectly, well engineered and super sturdy. But it took a very long time to put together, over 4 hours, not complaining though. I'm 71 with arthritis, and fumble around a bit. There are over 50 very small screws that I would have a difficult time using a drill with. Also 32 - 1 and 7/8ths inch screws with an allen head. Screw driver and allen wrench provided. The wood finish is very nice, the drawers work very smoothly and again super sturdy. I just love it. The only problem I ran across was the rear of the drawers. The pilot holes were not deep enough for the 1- and 7/8ths inch screws to put on the back panel. The last half inch of tightening was very difficult and started to crack and bulge out the side of the drawer. This does not affect the performance of the drawer though.

Absolute trash. I should have read some of the other reviews, and I'd have known better.The build quality is terrible. The material is loose, and flakes off when assembling it. They must have purchased the absolute cheapest MDF they could find, from a supplier who wanted to skimp on the binding agent. The choice of fasteners is a travesty. The fasteners are all made of SUPER soft material, and strip out under the slightest pressure (you know... the type of pressure you need to use when assembling it...) using the tools they provide. Also: The screws are comically short for their task, and the locks would be better off not even being there. It's ASTONISHING that someone thought this was a good design. It *LOOKS* nice from far away, but it's super flimsy and takes FOREVER to assemble. I am a bit out of shape, so it took longer than it probably should have, but after 4 hours I was just completely done with it (not in the literal sense. I just didn't want to keep assembling it). By the end my fingers felt raw from using that awful hex wrench they sent with it. I desperately looked around my house for a bit that size that I could use a screwdriver or drill with, but alas - It's a size I simply don't have.For the price, this is an astonishingly bad waste of money and time. Do NOT BUY THIS! Just go spend the extra like... 12 bucks to get a fully assembled metal cabinet from any of the big box stores near you. I am begging you to not support this company. It's so incredibly bad this review is honestly not even capable of expressing how terrible this thing is. If this thing cost 1/5 as much, I'd still think it was overpriced.

Like this a lot, very sturdy and looks really classy! Wasn’t too difficult to put together but definitely harder than I expected. Took me several hours. Very heavy!! My poor husband had to carry it up stairs and it was not easy.

According to my young friend who assembled it...........it was super easy! Now, when I attempted to add my files.......the letter size folders were too short for the rails! Not to worry, I searched and searched to no avail for folders that would fit the 13" space, my young friend came for a visit couple of days later and I mentioned my disappointment, he quickly said, "oh I can fix that.....he removed the rails and set them into the next slot! And now as you can see in the pictures it's absolutely perfect for my needs. I highly recommend this product and the seller. PS. I'm a quilter and those are projects ready to gift to friends.

This was 4 or 5 hours of work to put together, but after awhile I enjoyed doing something different and building something with my own hands that I can look at in my office with some satisfaction. The parts to be put together are meticulously crafted and matched, and the materials are first class. The graphic only instructions are thorough and effective. A look on the internet and in Office Max, etc. shows equivalent quality wooden cabinets in the +- $300 range. I like to purchase quality and this was that.Only caution: an hour was spent putting the locks on the drawers because I didn't do it in the recommended sequence, didn't see the very specific instruction about the outer collar, and the provided screws, though usable, could have been an eight of an inch longer for easier assembly.
