Works really well
This pump was exactly what we needed! Because of poor drainage and the slope going the wrong way, we end up with a moat at our front door, the main way in and out. This pump worked slick and removed the water lickity quick! Also because of the only 1/4” rise it gets so much of the water and the ground easily absorbs the rest quickly. This was a great find at a great price!

Acqu. Automatic 1/3 Hp Pump
This pump works great and was at the right price. Appears to be well made. The cord is plenty long enough. I would recommend buying this pump.

Good pump, cheap float sensor
Good pump. Great flow and capacity. Float switch is a sensor instead of a true float switch. This sensor is the only drawback to this pump. Sensor has failed to cut pump off a couple times. I used a piggy back standard float switch from HD to ensure reliability. Other than that switch issue, a good pump for the money overall.

Pump
Works as it should. Is noisy when water level drops and about to auto shut off.

Nice low volume pump, works well with a garden hose
I had an application where I needed to insure that an auxiliary sump could be emptied into the main sump under intermittent conditions. I decided I'd rather accomplish this with flexible commercial garden hose rather than plumb in the typical 2" DV rigid plastic pipe. This is typically a higher volume, low pressure application. I worried that the back pressure created by the small diameter hose might cause the pump to fail. I'm pleased to report that this device appears to handle this intended use just fine. I saved hours of work and frustration because I was able to use much smaller holes and hangers for routing the garden hose... not to mention using a single, continuous hose rather than messing with DV joints, turns, glue and overall mess. While I cannot speak to how it would perform under continuous hours of use, I'm very happy with the result for this particular use case.

Excellent pump with one flaw
Excellent pump. Quite strong. Works much better with 3/4 inch hose then with 5/8 in. The only drawback I have encountered is that the plastic cover over the auto sensor got knocked and the little legs broke off. I simply reattached with some gorilla tape.

Worked once, failed once, trash.
Worked one time! My basement will flood when there are big storms. I don’t have the $$$ to install a permanent sump pump so I thought having this automatic one would help. With this round of April storms I had a false sense of security with this pump sitting in my basement ready to go, it never went. Six inches of water and my old trusty WaterBug (that isn’t automatic) and my basement is now drained. Don’t depend on this pump to work automatically. I’m now in search of a better one myself, my return window has closed or this would be going back.
