Eight year old loves it!
What I love about this is an only child can entertain themselves for hours! My son set this up in the living room and out by the pool; it’s super easy to move around and not cheaply made. Fun in day or night time and if you have a black light it makes it even more fun. Worth the money, great gift idea!!

Super Spy Game
My daughter loves this game. We purchased two games so that we could have extra “wires” (strings) for the game. The “night vision” looks neat with the special lighting. Because you design the course you can make it easy (more spread apart) or more difficult (strings closer together). My daughter loves pretending she is a spy going through lasers (strings).

With proper expectations, these are very fun for kids!
We were very happy with these. Bought 2 sets of these due to reviews saying the string wasn't long enough. Bought this set in particular because it has longer string than the other. I'm so happy I bought this set for both the length and due to the glowing quality of the string with a black light (it's neon colored in plain light)! 2 sets was definitely better for a medium sized bedroom with minimal furniture in it! Instead of trying the goggles, we got a black light and had the "lasers" visible to anybody looking in the room. They glow amazingly and look awesome- the black light added a bit of atmosphere and allowed us to have a group of kids go one after another. For a mystery birthday party, we placed a set of clues in 2 corners of the room and had the kids (6-10) take turns collecting a clue from each location. We set the time to max 10 minutes, and with 10 kids they made it just in time to beat the buzzer/bomb explosion! (Several hit the strings and got time penalties.) The kids loved it! You really can't have more than 1-2 kids going through it at a time or they will knock the strings down (they all wanted to go play in it after the timed challenge- I didn't expect it to work like that and you shouldn't either). We set it up in a hallway after which was also fun.Finding clip locations was definitely a challenge, but we made it work. The hardest to get are the lowest spots, because the clips need a bit of space to hang if you want the timer to work correctly.Since we had 2 sets, I just set them up to start in the same location and started the timers at as close to the same time as I could- it worked fine (though technically the penalties may not be applied ideally, but we didn't care as it was fun just going through the maze with a time crunch for sense of urgency. Most of the negative reviews I found were due to people expecting real lasers. We are happy with the string- it's definitely safer. Other reviews complained about the string length- I agree 2 sets makes a big difference. Also the setup is a bit tricky to get the penalties to register properly. I went into it knowing that and setting it up the best I could, but really the time wasn't an issue for us anyway. I did test and found sometimes the sensors caught the bumps and sometimes not. So it's not perfect, but the kids didn't care and neither did I.

Bought as gift for grandkids
I got this on a sale price. The grandkids used a few times, but the pickup was too much trouble and eventually game was vetoed for other easier to clean up games. They did enjoy creating different mazes and attempting to get through, but the cleanup was not part of the fun.

Big Hit at Christmas
This was the 5yo's favorite present this Christmas. She liked it so much she still plays with it months later, which is not typical for her. Usually she loves something for 5 minutes and then is over it. Because this game can be modified and the course can be changed there is always a unique challenge for her. She has as much fun deciding how to set up the "lasers" as she does actually climbing through it.

Fun for five year old
Gift for 5 year old. He seemed to like it well enough. Could use more anchors. We used carabiner clips to make more anchor points and it did not affect the sensitivity of the timer/bomb.

Great game
The kids loved playing this at my son's birthday party kids age range between 5-11. The grown ups even wanted a try. Great for all ages. I only wish the string was longer, easy enough fix
