Yes it will only read transmiting freq. And your squelch tones but you’ll need to find the receive frequency if your using a repeater.

can i use this to find hidden cameras and hidden microphones?

i don't know but it pick up WiFi and it may you would have to know what the range is

No. To measure wattage will require direct connection to the transmitter via a cable.
