Q: Is this granulated sugar? amazon describes it as "rough cut" and "coarse crystals". nutrition facts says: 1 cube (5g), picture on box shows...cubes?

they are cubes but they are not the perfect little squares that come in the old style boxes. They are larger than those little cubes and they are imperfect and "rough cut". I love these.

Q: The production code is for the date of production, but what is the expiration date? What is the shelf life of this sugar?

Sugar doesn't promote bacterial growth. If sugar is kept in a cool dry place and remains contaminate free it should last a lifetime. It can become very hard and clumped together if not stored in an airtight container.

Q: Would a cube be aporox 1/2 teaspoon or closer to 1 teaspoon?

I pulled several from the box in an effort to get you an accurate answer. They seem to be just shy of a teaspoon, certainly more than half a teaspoon. But they are irregularly sized and vary from cube to cube. I love them:)

As of Feb. 2023, the package says a serving size is one cube and there are 200 servings per package.
