I actually paid for this product, several times, it wasn’t free.The color does vary from batch to batch, with lighter and darker brown patches, and does look different from the product photos, but marketing departments don’t like visual imperfections.This seems to be normal for this specific NR formulation - NRHMWhat matters is that it works.If one capsule in the morning doesn’t do it, try two.I take one, morning and afternoon.

Since NAD+ is too big to get into cells people usually supplement with its precursor NR. This is a newer form of NR, NR-Hydrogen Malate, which is supposedly easier and cheaper to manufacture, also more stable and more soluble (which may also mean better absorbed, but that's not yet known). The most common salt form of NR is NR-Chloride. NR-Cl is what almost all the published NAD+ clinical studies have used. So, the downside of NR-HM is that much less is known about its safety in humans even if HM is generally considered safe. A potential upside is that HM is used by mitochondria, which may mean NR-HM supports even more energy production than NR-Cl does (this is also not yet known). The other huge upside seems to be the cost, because this is fantastically priced relative to others. Maybe the cheaper manufacturing combined with increased shelf life (from its stability), makes this lower cost? If that's the case, the market will soon be flooded with cheaper NR-HM supplements.As for the rest, according to their website, Toniiq was started in 2013, everything is made in the US using globally sourced material, manufactured in GMP facilities, and it's 3rd party tested extensively (reports available upon request, which I did not do). These are all the things you'd want to see but most often don't. The capsule is vegan, though, despite what they say, there do seem to be some fillers. The three bottles arrived with a bit under 2 yrs expiration and come triple sealed. I'm middle aged with health issues and 1 capsule (500mg) works well enough for me and makes this even cheaper. The only bad thing I can say is the bottles did have powder in them (see pic), so it seems not all the capsules are sealed well.

I was fooled! the potency is good but the additive caused me heart burn and headaches, and acid reflux. NO more toxic additives for me.

Didn’t feel anything after weeks with these. With pure NMN I did feel more energy. These also have a mottled white/brown appearance which makes one think it’s not a well-purified powder.
