Works Great For AR15 Builds
I have used this roll pin tool kit to build a couple AR's now, and I really like using it. The set has pretty much everything you need to install or remove roll pins from your AR. The set comes with specialty bolt catch starter and driving punches. These are designed specifically to install the bolt catch roll pin without scratching or marring the finish on your lower receiver. These two punches have a plastic/rubber coating on them and extend past the lower receiver so that there is no chance of hitting the receiver when you are hammering in the bolt catch roll pin. The trigger guard press is designed so that you press in the roll pin instead of hammering it in. This eliminates the possibility of breaking the tabs on the lower receiver and ruining it when installing the trigger guard. The trigger guard press and the bolt catch punches are alone worth the cost of the set. The set comes in a nice plastic case and each part has it's own individual slot to hold it. The instructions are included for the trigger guard press, but YouTube is better for obtaining a tutorial on how to use it. I guess all the other punches included in the set will have a use sooner or later when working on rifles or pistols, but the only ones I really needed for building my AR's were described above. All in all it was a good buy and, while it is not the name brand, it is worth the money I spent on it. Heck the name brand trigger guard installation press is only about $1.00 less than this entire set. If you are not building AR's for a living this set will do everything you need and then some. I highly recommend it.

Just like brand name
I bought instead of wheeler for trigger guard tool, and it worked just as good. It made short work if that one roll pin. I have an identical wheeler set, but don't have it with me, because I loaned it to my cousin. It was easier, and cheaper especially in gas to order another instead of going to get my wheeler.

Nice assortment and packaging but lacks any info on tools.
Good for the money.Only complaint is that a 1 page tool id. and a few tips would have been nice. Especially for novice users. How hard could that have been.Just my thoughts.

Made completing my AR15 lower build quick and easy
Bought this set so I could complete my AR15 build. I was able to assemble the lower completely without marring the surface- which I could see happening had I done it with a tack hammer and screwdriver like I was planning. The roll pin pusher was an excellent addition! The storage container fits perfectly in my toolbox and with the many sized punches available I can find a lot of use for this little kit.

Incredible value
So much value in this kit…The Trigger Guard tool by itself is worth ~$30 from the original manufacturer. But in addition to that, it also comes with an assortment of relatively high quality tools for removing roll pins, and is specifically marketed/geared towards firearm maintenance.Comes in its own little plastic tool case, with everything feeling very secure when snapped in place.Rubber coating on the main roll pin removal tools for longevity.Brass and plastic heads on the hammer.Everything has a substantial weight/feel.All in all, I am very pleased so far, and will update this review if I encounter any problems during usage.

Great quality and value.
I was skeptical purchasing this kit at first as I had a different kit from Grip where the punch I used the most broke sooner then I felt it should.I love this kit so far. I’ve used it for two builds with no issues. The magnets in the trigger guard tool came out but some glue and you are good to go.I’ve used other quality brands but the roll pin punch and starter I’ve only seen in this kit. It has a flat side with a rubber sheeting to protect your lower and get a better angle when putting the bolt catch roll pin in.Overall this has been a great kit saving me time and money. The trigger guard tool is worth the price alone. There is also enough space in the case to throw my pivot pin tools in.
