XBOX Console (Renewed)

The packaging was great. the controller had everything working and was clean. The cables work great (might want to get a converter to HDMI as well). The only thing "wrong" was big scratches on the top and some minorly loose ports, but that kinda stuff is expected from a 20-year-old Xbox. Games run well and work fine. Don't be expecting great-resolution gaming though. This is 20 years old after all. Check out PC emulators if you prefer high resolution.

Package arrived early, which was nice, console turned on and worked fine, until it came to reading the discs. The console did not work any further than the home screen, super disappointing. And upon trying to clean the disc scanner, the console was customized so there is no access to this point of the hardware; a part allowing you to go further is missing and replaced with a custom piece that won’t move, meaning if it is broken, its broken. There’s no hope in repairing it yourself. Was looking forward to it but was let down

I appreciate the time and effort put into how well it was packed. Shows someone really cares for there work. Clean works well when plugged in. Worth it.

I don't think what I ordered was quite worth the price. The console and controller were very clean and packaged very well, but the disc tray opens up whenever I hit the button to insert a disc. Whenever the disc tray stays closed, the console has performed flawlessly thus far. I've only played it for about 2 hours though, so we'll see how this goes.

The system starts up just fine but the disk drive will not open. I bought the product as a backup and did not test it out before the return window closed. Certainly my issue for not vetting it accordingly but the fact that it was sold and does not function properly is very disappointing. I would be willing to sent it back to the seller for a functioning system but I doubt that's an option at this point.

Works fine after having to spam the eject disc button for it to turn on. But other than that it’s not giving me any sorts of trouble. The controller was cracked down the middle, and power cord did not fit into console so I had to use a different one. READ THE REVIEWS. I hope this helps anyone out there that has ordered one from Amazon renewed.

Exactly what my nephew was looking for.

I bought this in response to a request for an "old" X-Box. Sure, I have one of these... but I love it, and still use it on occasion. So I ordered another one to give as a gift.Imagine my delight when I presented this to the person who asked for it, and was told (and I quote): "Not that one. The X-360."Needless to say, I returned it, and the little ingrate can buy his own console with the $50 gift card he got (and that's only because my wife insisted that I couldn't get him nothing). I still love the original X-Box and recommend it highly. Mine has held up for 17 years, and still keeps plugging along.Lesson learned... and I saved myself a chunk of change. (about $160, by my reckoning). Enjoy the gift card, punk.
