Easy to follow plans.

Great book, goes in depth of building a chicken coop complete with measurements and a materials list, even explains how to use things you already might have around your house to save a little money. lots of advice about chickens. The reason i only gave it a 4 star is because i thought it would have more plans than 1 in the book, but we can go by most of the instructions, and make it according to how we want it. It does have lots of nice pictures with explanations too.

I figured if this was good for explaining projects to kids, I'd be able to understand it.

Very basic but nicely presented

I'm just a couple of chapters in, but have found this book to be quite helpful in planning my chicken coop project for next spring! Love the colored pictures, too. Makes me think I may really love adding chickens to our large backyard here in town!

This is the book you need

This is a good book to have, it includes plans and directions for a small coop, but you can modify it the way that you want. It was a good reference to have.
