Does the job very light to carry and use. So far very good but only used on light lawns anything else I think you would need something more robust. But happy with the product and the price paid

I’ve been really impressed with the VonHaus Cordless Grass Trimmer, especially considering the price point. It feels like a great quality tool and has handled my small garden with ease.The battery life is decent – I can comfortably trim the whole garden on a single charge. It comes with both the battery and charger included, which is a big plus compared to some other models.One of my favourite features is the fence guard. It lets me get close to the fence without worrying about damaging the blade or hitting the panels. The edge guide is another really handy touch, especially for getting a cleaner line around the garden edges.The plastic blades work really well for strimming grass. I’ve found them much simpler to deal with than the usual strimmer wire, which can be fiddly and prone to tangling. Plus, VonHaus includes plenty of spare blades that clip right onto the handle for easy access – and replacements are easy to buy separately when needed.If I had to mention one con, it’s that while the fence guard is great for protecting both the blade and fence, it does stop you from trimming right up against the edge. So for a super-neat finish, you might need to either remove the guard or tidy up the edges with some clippers.Overall, though, I think this is a fantastic product for the price. It’s well-designed, efficient, and ideal for small gardens. I’d definitely recommend it if you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-fuss strimmer.

The strimmer is good quality and a good battery life however the Blades don't allow for a precise and neat cut and wear out very quick to do my small front garden I had to use 4 blades.shall be going back to my old streamer with a line instead of these plastic blades shame..As I have lots of Von Hass tools .

I inadvertently allowed my garden to seriously resemble a jungle--no really, the grass is at least knee-high and I was starting to think I'd need a guide to get to the back fence. My poor lawn mower was cowering in fear at the mere thought of attempting to get the stuff under control, so I decided I'd need a strimmer to cut it down to size. After a bit of googling, and learning that cord strimmers leave small bits of plastic everywhere as they are used, I decided that a plastic blade was a better choice (not perfect-still plastic, but better) and the VonHaus seemed to tick all the boxes. I was not disappointed! It came mostly assembled, only requiring the guard to be added, and had a fully charged battery. It's lightweight and easy to hold, and can be extended so that me (5'3") my 6'4" husband can both easily use it (a rarity). It came with 10 plastic blades, but I've cut quite a bit of my (very overgrown) garden and a friend's (not quite so overgrown) garden on one blade. The battery lasts very well, and charges quickly. Not having a cord to mess with is a real plus! It does require a bit of practice, with long grass you need to cut from the top a few inches at a time or the grass winds around the spindle. A bit of a pain, but easy enough to clear. All in all, I'm very pleased and it makes strimming less of a chore.

I needed to replace our heavy duty petrol strimmer with a light weight battery strimmer and this looked in like a great option. Delighted with performance and weight but it uses plastic blades rather than cord and they're useless. I would guess I break a blade every minute (not joking) and it's costing me a fortune (nevermind the cost to the environment). Read a previous review suggesting the blades are soaked before use to make them less brittle but it doesn't work. I think I'll have to look at alternative strimmers, which is a pity because the machine itself is great but the blades let it down.

Initially arrived with a battery that did not work but on contacting them a new battery was sent immediately and having tested the strummer it works really well on my lawn edges and is really lightweight.

Used it a few times and gradually learning how to use it without breaking the plastic strips.Easy to handle and not that heavy.Decent battery power as I used it 3 times on both front and rear garden before it needed its first charge.
