Starts my 2001 7.3L !
OK, lets all remember we are dealing with 7.3L diesel motors. Tuff as nail and million mile motors. I installed this starter in about 30 minutes. I own a lift and that made it a breeze. Takes only two bolts and two nuts to remove for the hot wires. I removed both positive cables off the batteries too, so no sparks underneath. It has only been in for two weeks and it has performed flawlessly. I will update this as the winter progresses and time goes on. So far everyone has given it 5 stars. I will too. It spins very fast and has good torque. Sounds very good too. No tinny sounds coming from a cheap rebuild. 1 year warranty and hopefully will last a long time. One last thing. Do your self a favor and spray the contacts with battery protectant. This will help with corrosion underneath and help save the starter from the green goblin that likes to destroy your contacts.

I bought of 4 of these in the last 2 years for one machine they don't get used that much
They are cheap but not worth it to spend extra 50 bucks get one that last for 5 yersand a warranty is up to you you have to send it back they have to determine what the hell everyday determine I want to know the machine if it it's like come on you you want me to sit without my starter for months on my equipment I need this that's what I make my money with hello I've worked on heavy equipment on my life and never have had such much problems out of a starter or a company about their starter

Changed the 21 year old starter.
So, I have finally changed what I believe is the original starter in 2000 f250 7.3. I have owned the truck for 13 years, and it always seemed to crank slowly. Obviously I have changed batteries in the truck before, still no change. Now it was getting slow crank (like a 6v tractor) in the summer. Put this starter on, and I can't believe how fast it cranks over! Even the old motor seems surprised! 🤣 fires right up now. Couldn't be happier! It has only been on for 3 days, I hope it lasts a while. I feel like it was money well spent. I probably should have done it sooner.
