Best kitchen item I own
Quite possibly the best kitchen item I own!!Really easy to use, bit if oil in the bottom, sautés the vegetables perfectly and without the need to use another pan, then put some hot stock in, herbs and spices and put the lid on...20 min later lovely hot soup with all good stuff in it and no crap that’s out in tinned soup to keep it stable on a shelf for months. We make a soup nearly every day, have a bowl for dinner each and freeze a portion for another day when only one of us wants a soup so it makes quite a lot for a compact size.Easy to clean, easy to store and takes up little space when in use...what’s not to love?

Great equipment - does what it says and helps with health eating
Don’t be shy to try different soup recipes - mix and match veg, boiled lentils, even fruit! Sauté onion, ginger, garlic and tomato as a base for soups and then add the rest of ingredients. Keep warm function really keeps your soup warm, and the taste/flavour is good. What more can you ask when you get a yummy soup in 19 minutes! Really helps with not wasting some of the veg and fruit not getting used. Have added apples and grapes to some soups along with veg like spinach, carrots etc. If you are planning to use beans and lentils, then make sure to boil them before. Both options, smooth and chunky are great. Also, to add some extra flavour, include some fresh herbs or dried ones - I have used Italian herb mix and really adds to the flavour.

Compact and works well
I had a very large soup maker but it had a glass jar on it and was very heavy to lift and use. As I have arthritis I found it more and more difficult so I passed it onto a friend who was fine with it and I ordered this one instead. I live on my own and this is the perfect size and makes 2-3 portions of a soup which is all I need.easy to use - gives you a choice of chunky or smooth soup. Also blends and there is a cleaning mode as well. It is small enough to slip into a cupboard and overall I am very pleased with it

Great product let down by design
I have had this soup maker for three weeks and have made all the recipes. We have enjoyed all the soups listed. The machine is easy to use but it does have a design fault that others have described namely the electrical connection between top and bottom can uncouple during the blending function and then it disconnects and cooking or cleaning stops. I have found a way to solve the problem by using a plastic garden strap that keeps top and bottom connected- see my photo for detail. You could ask why not send it back? I say as it’s the design that’s at fault any of these soup makers of this model could do it. So as I genuinely love the soup maker and it makes great soups I will use it and use the little strap. It’s not a big issue. Also remember neither top or bottom can be submerged in water and when you take the top off to serve the soup make sure you have a bowl for the top to sit in otherwise you will have hot soup and sharp blades resting on your work tops. Otherwise enjoy it and follow the instructions to the letter. Do not over or under fill it and use the sauté function for the correct time with foods recommended.

Fantastic and easy-to-clean soup maker
Love this soup maker. It’s easy to clean, having the pre-clean function and non-stick coated base. The sauté function is really handy, and I love the smaller size which fits better on the kitchen, makes two big bowls which is better for us. Really good quality product two. I’d bought a cheaper and other make before this one and that cheaper one kept overheating and cutting out, so it’s been well worth spending a little extra on this one that’s works every time!

Just buy it
So happy with this purchase. I wasn't sure about the added value as you could just do it the old way with a pan and a blender. Omg this changed my means! Just 20 mins and delicious soup ready to consume, perfect for the winter. This is also perfect size for 2, Just as big as a kettle. Really easy to clean.

An easy way to eat more healthily
Soup making is not difficult, but it has become extremely easy with the soup maker. It is really worth paying a little extra for this one with the sauté function as it cuts down on washing up. It’s also lightweight as it’s a smaller version (2 bowls). Then when you’ve enjoyed your soup it is extremely easy to clean. Brilliant!

My best kitchen gadget
My husband has recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. We have been sharing a tin of soup for lunch most days but were getting tired of the same flavours. I read all the reviews for the soup maker and bought one with a saute option. I buy lots of different veggies and try different variations. Once I've ch opped up my selection and sauted it I add a couple of veggie Oxo cubes or the no salt stock cubes, a good few cracks of black pepper, a sprinkling of mixed herbs and most importantly for us, a spoon of yeast flakes. Top up to the required Mark with cold water put the lid on and select smooth or chunky. In twenty minutes we have enough delicious soup for two days. I can't recommend this soup maker highly enough. It also has a clean function so you know you'll be ready for next time. Cheers!
