Connects easily, works well, big improvement over previous unit
The Bluetooth connection was seamless, and was working in minutes. Had this for weeks now with no issues. The feel of the keys is good. Note that the battery saving scheme puts the keypad in standby mode after some minutes of inactivity, but the keys pressed are buffered and not lost when it wakes up. Highly recommended. Connected to MS Surfacebook3, windows 11.

Great Keypad and works on Mac
Excellent quality for the price and works perfectly via Bluetooth. Apart from the shortcut keys, it works with a Mac computer (the product description clearly explains that the shortcut keys only work with Windows).

Nice Action
The keys have a nice action - compatible with my laptop.I hadn't realised that it timed out after about 5 minutes (battery life). Although it does say it times out in the text. So you do need to be patient sometimes. It resumes after 1-2 seconds and no need to press the button again. If you are using shift or control with a numeric keypad key, then you do need to keep it pressed while it wakes up.I wouldn't want to be replacing the battery too often, so I am happy to live with this feature.

Works perfectly with my Dell Laptop
Connects immediately from sleep mode.Calculator button brings up a calculator on the screen...which is a plus I wasn't aware of.Otherwise it works exactly like a numeric keypad you find on a normal keyboard.Recommended.

Infuriating to use
Ordered this as my previous one broke and thought I’d try Bluetooth to free up a USB port.It goes to sleep when not used for few mins, which is fine, but to reactivate you not only have to press a button but you then have to use your mouse to click back where you want it to write your number. You can’t simply press the button to wake it up and then press the number. It’s infuriating to work with. If it wasn’t for the fact I don’t want to leave the house to post back during covid19 outbreak or incur someone to have to deliver another one I would have sent back. Having to make do.

Rytaki Portable Wireless Bluetooth 22-Key Numeric Keypad Keyboard
Great for use when your "go to" Qwerty keypad has no number pad. Bluetooth connectivity took a bit of setting up but once set up means you don't need a separate dongle. Now connects when I turn the keypad on. I have a small desk so small keyboard and no keypad. I found I need a keypad occasionally and this so far has been ideal. You can move it around the desk separately from the Qwerty keypad so is possibly great for lefties.

Memory Buffer
I'd previously tried a cheaper keypad and it's buttons were very spongy and very long travel for a laptop style keypad. The keys on this one are halfway in quality between the spongy one's above and my laptop keyboard. Not quite as slick, but still usable.I nearly didn't buy this due to another review about sleep and Bluetooth reconnecting. It's true, the keypad "sleeps" after about 5 minutes and disconnects the Bluetooth to save the power on the single 1.5V AAA battery (not supplied). Key presses awaken the device and automatically reconnect it, with a maybe 2 seconds delay, but the key presses are stored in a buffer and appear as normal once the short delay has elapsed. Once the device is awake, numbers appear as one would expect via a normal wired keyboard. Happy so far.
