Breathe Easy in Comfort without STRESS!!!
What's to say about this but....wow. I this has been the best gift I've ever received. I have been wanting to get into alcohol ink art but the fumes make me so sick.Wearing a normal ventilator mask, I would feel very our of breath and find myself gasping for air about 20-30 minutes after having it on.But this respirator works like a dream, it's so so comfortable, and I can relax and really get into my artwork and breathe easily. It's easy to assemble. It's portable. The battery life lasts abour 15-16 hours and is rechargeable. The ONLY thing I would say is that the belt for wearing it is not big enough and I need a belt extention and don't know how to get one.I also would like the hose to be a little longer.

Unit seems good.
Unit works if Amazon doesn’t damage it.

Wear entire clinical shifts, recommend for anyone in healthcare these days
Bought this back in March and have used for my entire shift every time I work in the hospital. It takes a little getting used to - finding the right fit on the headbands for the good, figuring out how to communicate above the noise of the air blowing, figuring out how best to decon after work - but it is now like a second skin. I prefer this to the CAPR setup, which causes neck pain after a few hours. I routinely wear this for 10 hours at a time. I purchased two backup setups because we clearly cannot rely on work for our safety - haven’t needed them for replacement parts, but they have come in handy for non-hospital uses when safe distancing is not possible.Far superior to wearing an N95 mask and separate eyes covering for hours at a time, and patients can read my lips if they are hard of hearing.

The best PAPR there is on the market
I bought this device to keep safe while taking care of Covid patients. It is an extremely well built, reliable device, something to expect from Draeger, which also makes one of the best ventilators and anesthesia machines. A fully charged battery actually lasts way longer than what the manufactures claims, I took 12 hours shifts and with the battery on at the end of the day I still had enough juice in the battery. Now in my department, with a second wave on the horizon, this device will be standard. Hopefully we won’t need to use it, but if that would happen it will keep us safe while caring for the sick

Great battery and Air supply, but the black helmet was a little uncomfortable
I'm rating this hardhat looking black helmet particular model four stars because the helmet has some ergonomic issues for large heads where it kind of puts too much pressure on the back of your head where the air vent goes. If I had a better helmet it would definitely be a five-star product. But I got this version for a slight discount so it's still doable and there are many good things about it besides the discomfort of the hard helmet on big heads. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time, longer than they advertise in my personal experience which is a refreshing change. Some companies over advertise their battery capacity but I think this one under advertised it. Or maybe they have it rated for pulling air through clogged filters? Or maybe that organic vapor filter, which might require more power, but I'm just using a dust filter right now and the battery is lasting a very long time. The airflow is good and my face does not get hot or humid at all when working in my garage. This is a vast improvement in comfort versus using traditional respirators which always got me all hot and sweaty. The visibility remains good too and it never fogs up when I'm breathing normally on low. If you are needing to breathe heavier you can increase the power but I normally just run it on low since I'm not doing anything really exerting.Another reason I give it four stars. Is that even if you want to buy a different mask or hood for this thing, you will need to get a different hose, and these hoses are proprietary and surprisingly unavailable in most stores and surprisingly expensive, I'm talking like $80 for a hose. So be aware of that factor.Be aware that you will need to buy a filter separately. It doesn't come with one. And the filters are kind of expensive like everything else on this system.

OK Value
The product took 4 days to ship from Amazon and then a full week to deliver. The new helmet and battery are two years old.

Worth the money’s
Everything that was described for this machine is 100% accurate. I like this better than the 3M I used before because it gives me a longer cooler feeling even if I used it for longer periods. The standard face shield/protector that comes with it is more durable than the 3M machine

Fresh clean air quality is outstanding compared to another PAPR and several filtered masks.
I purchased this unit due to my favorable experience with Drager ventilators and brand reputation, to work in the COVID unit. Due to a delay in shipping, I ended up purchasing a competitor brand with faster delivery. The air quality difference feel, is remarkable and worth the wait. I feel energized all day when I wear this device. It is heavy to carry on my waist all day so I carry it on my shoulder when I walk. I have not found a shoulder harness however like the other brand, it would be easier on my back if they had one. The battery lasts the whole shift, however after 2 months the charger quit working. I messaged the manufacturer today. There is no charger sold separately to buy a spare one, nor battery.
