CRAFTSMAN Tool Chest Combo with Drawer Liner Roll, 26-Inch, Rolling, 5 Drawer, Black (CMST82763BK)

I read the reviews only after purchasing this toolbox and was afraid mine would arrive damaged as others have experienced. I watched the tracking until it showed the truck coming up my street and then went outside to wait for it. It was a full sized Amazon freighter that pulled up. Two guys opened the doors and inspected the box before even unloading it. I watched as they carefully communicated and unloaded the box together. They both then noticed me while walking up to the door and gave a friendly hello. I was actually impressed by their level of care. I am in Los Angeles so I would estimate the average level of caring for other peoples things as quite low in this part of the country but these boys did great before they even knew they had eyes on them. I opened up the box and not a single dent, scratch or blemish! Has assembly grease along the drawer guides and bottom door but that was easy to cleanup.It arrived in perfect condition and I am completely satisfied with this purchase.The box itself was easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy.Note: mine was delivered from the Amazon warehouse just north of Los Angeles and only had about 50 miles to travel. I am assuming those who received damaged units had a further delivery distance and likely changed vehicles multiple times.

Toolbox came packaged nicely. Item as described. No damage to item in transit. Note that top toolbox is shipped within the lower tool storage area of the bottom toolbox. I dented the bottom closure getting it out (it's screwed in so it doesn't move and get damaged...these screws are then used to secure the smaller toolbox to the top of the bottom toolbox), but that's my bad. If you use more care than I did getting the smaller toolbox out, you'll be fine. Very nice looking toolbox, and happy to have a reasonably priced Craftsman toolbox to store my Craftsman tools. The value on this toolbox is very good, considering I have seen this toolbox for twice as much or a lot more elsewhere than from this seller. I own a few small hand tools like a sander and jigsaw, etc, and they fit in the lower part of the toolbox perfectly.So basically, great value. Just slow down and take your time getting the bottom toolbox section out of the lower toolbox area so you don't dent the bottom door like I did.

The tool chest provides ample room for most people. I like the easy glide drawers and the depth variety allows room for most standard household tools.My concern was that it was not protected well enough and there were several dents in it. It also was slow to arrive and that's why I didn't complain about it. My son assembled it quickly.

This thing shipped out of the Auburn Correctional Facilty-no lie-Made in the USA!!! This thing is a disaster. First of all, it arrives late, when it does arrive it is missing a piece of styrofoam for the back and there are four large dings in it. The rest of the thing is just the opposite-it's overpacked and it took me around 20 minutes to figure out how to take it out of the packaging, it had a large piece of styrofoam shoved so far into the base that you have to destroy the thing to get it out, creating a huge strofoam mess in the process. The hardware for the wheel assembly is of a particularly cheap foreign made variety. I had to use my own hardware. Craftsman, is now owned by Stanley Tools-garbage.

The product itself is great; however, I feel like I didn’t get the right assembly instruction booklet.At first I was worried, after reading the reviews about badly dented products. I feel like they were just badly dented during shipping or customers damaged it themselves when not following the instructions to remove the box from packaging, which isn’t Craftsman’s fault.The product was in perfect condition. It was super easy to remove from the box when I followed the instructions on the outside of the box. I had a little bit of help, but I could have done it on my own. It was heavy, so I did need help lifting it and moving it across the room to where I was going to assemble it, so I wouldn’t scratch the floor.I am highly disappointed by the lack of instructions in the printed pamphlet that was to assemble the product. It really didn’t go over anything in great detail. The wheel assembly was fairly easy, but everything else is soooo confusing! How on earth was I supposed to properly remove the top half of the product from the under cabinet? It took three of us to figure it out. On top of that, I cannot figure out how to remove the drawers. That probably would have made the previous complaint I had much easier.I’ve now got a product covered in scratches and greasy slime that I have no idea where it came from. I know it wouldn’t stay perfect forever, but it would’ve been nice to have it all assembled looking brand spanking new for a day or two before our tools scratched it all up.Plus some of the pictures are misleading. I think they belong to another similar product, but it’s very disappointing. One picture of the product shows that there’s clearly a lock for the rolling chest, but in the other pictures there is not. Not all the pictures belong to this single product and it is a little misleading as to what you end up getting.

I was a little nervous about this purchase. I'm not a big tool guy, so I wasn't looking for top of the line. Just something to hold my house tools. A lot of the reviews reference dings and tents. Maybe I got lucky, but it arrived blemish free. Excellent quality. Easy to move and looks great.

I was weary about buying after seeing the reviews with damage and issues, but rolled the dice.. this toolbox is awesome! It was delivered without a single scratch, dent, or mark. Just as sturdy as any other Craftsman toolbox I've ever seen... drawer rollers are buttery smooth, locks work, the thing is just solid and looks premium. Definitely a great value for the money.
