works very well - mounting tricky
This rides perfectly. Only noisy if empty. Nice and wide - fits all my dog kennelsThe mounting hooks are excessively long and don't fit well on the cross bars - cross bars are angled. The mount hooks are super long, had to 'fill' space under cross bar with pads to make it reasonably level to snug on - still excessively long hook screw length.Otherwise, rides really well on road and freeway. Easy to load/unload (although sticking up screw handles inside are a little inconvenient, but they are easy to screw on.Lost up to 3 mpg depending on speed and wind. But all in all - a great asset.

No instructions, no problem.
So after a bunch of indecision, I bought this for my 2021 Subaru Forester. While it says it does not come with instructions, it does have a little pict-o-gram sheet of warnings. Overall, installing was pretty easy and I did it myself about two hours before departing for a family vacation. Install time was about 45 minutes, but it was pretty straight forward. I was able to do it all myself.Should you get it? Yeah. It's an affordable alternative, has low (no) wind noise, and kept my tents, towels, and camp chairs dry during a rainstorm. And it doesn't look awful and it's a great spot for random stickers you pick up along your adventures.

Good quality, come back from a 3000 miles road trip.
Just received, feels like build quality is good. Installation just need common sense. You don't really need a step by step instructions.Size is not very big. Wish it can be 12~15 cu ft.Will see if it is really good. Going for a road trip. Will update after come back.-----------UpdateWhen I was preparing for a road trip to Florida, I decide to spray paint it to light color to reduce heat form sun. Looks pretty good.3000 mile road trip include storm, stong wind. It handled very well. Highly recommended.

Had to return because it didn’t seem to be sturdy enough.
I opened its box and never used it. But looking at it and opening it, it felt too flimsy to be safe at securing my belongings. I need something that’s strong and stays secured so I had to return it.The only thing I liked about it was the physical size for storage capacity. As far as the price, it feels overpriced for what you actually get. Basically 2 pieces of flexible plastic for the shell and a few U bolts. For the price I was expecting something ridged and stronger.

Great box for extra gear
We bought this on a whim before a long trip. Install was fairly simple. I believe we bought the medium size. We put 3 20” hard side, or duffle bags in there. Could maybe put in more if you squeeze it. I like that the key won’t come out when it’s unlocked. It only releases when it’s locked. Had this for about 3 months now. Works great for out family.

Looks nice, works well
I like the fact that it does not have a lot of road noise, but I gave it three stars because it's very hard to install as it only opens one way.I had to stand on the rear window Sill to be able to reach the other side and complete the install even that was difficult. If I had it to do again I would have got one that opens both ways.

Fabulous
I love this rooftop box! It is light enough for me to handle on my own, I'm 5'5 and 140 pounds, and is big enough to store all the things I need. It is also very sturdy for being as light as it is!

Pleasantly Surprised!
Just completed 3,500 miles in two weeks, including torrential rain, snow, 60+ mph wind gusts, and blazing sun. Totally worth it! Everything stayed dry and the inter straps kept things from shifting around. Comes with stickers to cover the unused holes on the bottom, they did their job, but one has already come loose. If, like me, you try to stuff it past capacity with squishy things (duffle/sleeping bags, dog bed, etc): The lid will not close without assistance. I didn't have a second person around to hold the lid down while I locked it, so ratchet straps to the rescue!Attached to old yakima round bars, it was less noisy than the bars alone.Felt like the size was a good choice, given the 100lb capacity of my bars. The profile change was noticeable in the wind and with gas consumption.Easier to install with two people, but not impossible if you're alone.
