Invaluable after double knee replacement
After having both knees replaced, this was a life saver allowing me to get in and out of bed (used with stand). I am about 275 and though I have put enormous stress on it, it has been solid as a rock. Not sure I could have managed without it.Only cons are that it would be nice to have a bit easier adjustment for the chain and if you are attaching to a bed, it had better be one helluva headboard as there is a lot of stress being generated.

I suspect this thing has saved my life
I've been bedridden for three months with a complex femur fracture, and I've been using this trapeze a little bit every single day. I started out as an aging weakling, and now I'm experiencing what it's like to finally have some tone in my arms. Finally, I've started to enjoy exercise, even in my temporarily disabled state. I'm thinking that when I'm finally out of this hospital bed, which I hope is very soon, I'm going to install this trapeze over my regular bed. It's such a good activity, so why stop?

Weak, weak, weak, and NOT as pictured
First I want to say that I buy a lot of Amazon items. I RARELY leave a 1 Star review. I am rating this 1 Star for two reasons. One, just like everyone else says, it IS NOT as pictured. It is only the Stand. The legs and A Frame. You still need to purchase the overhead bar and hanging handle. And two, most of all, it is weak. The legs have two small post that go upright into the A Frame at the bottom and then you place a pin through a hole during assembly. Both of those small pins have bent on my unit and the whole thing flexes every time I try to use it now. We have had a close look at it and have determined that it is actually bent and it is only like a month old. I am a large guy but I only use it to roll over with one hand. I would say that with my strength I am unable to place a huge amount of strain on it. Bottom line, it is weak...Not sure what I am going to do with it now other than take the hit an replace it.

Very helpful for stroke patient
My dad is a 30 year stroke patient with full left-side paralysis. He’s nearly 80, and still at home.My mom is in her late 70s and has cared for him all this time. As he has continued to decline, the load shifted more and more to her when getting him out of bed and into his wheelchair.Dad’s occupational therapist suggested this device, and it has really taken some of the physical strain off my mom. Worth every penny.
