Moderate roast, so never bitter. Good solid flavor. Low acid, which is clear after 4 cups/mugs. If I drank 3 cups of 'regular' Starbucks or equivalent, I would have severe heartburn. I drink 4 mugs daily with no problem. Given I use milk and sugar, this coffee is excellent in flavor (for me). I simply know that when I travel I have to watch my intake. At home, I enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

I tried several low acid coffees' before I found Puroast, and my stomach still bothered me, and I was going to give up coffee for the sake of my stomach and health and then I saw Puroast on Amazon and read some reviews and decided to try it, after five years I'm still drinking it because it's always fresh and has great flavor. I've only tried the Darker roasts; Dark French roast, French Roast and Espresso and they are all great with a distinct flavor and aroma. Most people have issues from acidic coffee, but they ignore it, so if you want great flavor without the stomach pain try Puroast

Tastes like the coffee version of dutch-processed cocoa and probably for the same reason (similar or same process?) so it's not 100% the same taste as regular coffee, and in some ways has a darker but blander taste. It's a real coffee alternative to other options for those who need to avoid full-acid coffee but still want the caffeine hit, which other coffee alternatives like chicory, malted grain beverages, and mushroom coffee don't supply.

I like that this is a 2 lb bag of coffee for the price of most 1lb organic coffees. Add to that the fact that this coffee has a noticeable improvement on my acid reflux, and it's a great option. (I would say a 50%+ reduction in acid and reflux effect compared to a regular coffee). The only drawback is it has a slightly organic taste. Not burned, more like mushrooms or green tea undertones. It's still good coffee, and way better than non coffee alternatives I've tried, but it's not my favorite coffee. Still, it's my mainstay that let's me drink coffee every morning for the past three months.

Is a good coffee and do not upset stomach. I'm taking everyday in the morning.

I don't like to write bad reviews, but I also don't want to see people spend money on bad products. I needed to find a low acid coffee quickly and this one seemed like a great choice. It wasn't.The first day, I had to choke down my morning coffee. I thought it might get better as I drank more of it so I drank it five days this week. You know, maybe I just needed to get used to it. Now, I typically rotate between 3-4 coffees so that my taste buds don't get stuck on one particular flavor, but I was going to go to this 100% because of the LOW ACID designation. True enough, I didn't have any acid reflux issues, but IT IS THE WORST COFFEE I've ever had. No cheap grocery store brand coffee, greasy spoon restaurant coffee, or gas station coffee is this bad. It's simply awful. So, don't buy the big bag like I did, because you might end up throwing out the rest. I am.

Won’t order again . It was a little weak for my taste this time around . A little bitter as well .
