Excellent sturdy hammock post
Perfect! I have a single large tree in my back yard, and have always wanted to hang a hammock. This post fit the bill exactly as needed. My one minor qualm is I wish it came with a cap for the piece. I ordered a pvc cap to prevent rain, and debris from getting in.

Missing parts
I ordered two of these hammock poles. They are heavy duty. However, both boxes were too lightweight for their contents. One pole arrived open and missing its cap, the other, open and missing its hook and chain. So basically I received one complete set, and one plain, lone, pole and insert. While I am keeping it because I like the quality of the pole, the packaging should be better so the customer receives the complete set. I am now going to the hardware store to find a hook and hopefully a pvc pipe cap to fit this pole.

Great solution!
Lost 5 trees on my property over the past few years due to storms &/or aging and sorely missed my hammock. Bought this green pole kit and my handyman installed it quickly & quite easily, with a shovel and a sack of "quickcrete". I chose to place it at the edge of a 6' hedge & it blends in beautifully with the landscaping. We hung my new hammock between this pole and a beautiful, grand old oak tree. Perfect!

Great option to support hammock
We had two trees in our backyard which had served as support anchors for our hammock. After one tree had died and was uprooted, we needed something to replace it for hammock support. This hammock support pole was just the answer to our problem!I’m not especially handy, but was able to follow instructions to dig the proper size hole, center the pole and add concrete mix as required. I think I used 5, 50 pound bags of concrete mix to fill in the hole around the pole. The concrete bags have mixing instructions printed on them. Very happy with the result!

Strong post with the perfect height. Seems built to last a reasonable amont of time.
Strong and easy to install removable in ground post. Works perfectly for my hammock with one end attached to this pole, the other to a palm tree. Only time will tell how it holds up to the salt spray at our ocean front home.

Best tree I have ever used for a hammock
And to think I had specked out two different types of poles with sleeves using pieces from a hardware store before finding this item. It was exactly what I needed. I actually have two trees in my front yard that are 30 ft apart and I put the pole in the middle of them both. I can now put the hammock to either tree depending on where the sun is facing or I can put one hammock to each tree using the same pole. I drilled another hole at the top on the opposite side to accommodate a second hammock. I am using the Kammok Python Straps on the trees. Wow these straps are fantastic as well. The sleeve was easy to install and I used almost 200 lbs of concrete. I am hanging a double hammock most of the time and with my wife and I 330 lbs there is no sag or movement at all. Highly recommend this pole if you are missing a tree. :)

RUSTED
Rusted very quickly. How can you make an outside product that can't get wet?
